Hi, article author here! Thanks for covering up my article in form of a video. Nowadays I'm in midst of a nix-void hybrid setup that ramps up safety (reproducibility as they call it) of the system even more. Base system is void, I can use all utilities of void, but upper level application & configuration is handled by nix, which allows immediate system restore since everything is written in the files, and also guarentees the application will run no matter what year it is, if it is running today.
I settled on Void and have been on it for over 2 years. I use it on all my machines, use it on my LAN party gmaing computers, and on my Raspberry Pis where it boots faster and runs lighter than Raspbian and any other Linux distro I have tried
Not exactly, it has pre-built packages it uses for a good bit of your system, but has a system for compiling packages that aren't in the main repos. I would say it is more like Arch, or rather Artix, in that respect, except for the fact the tools to build packages are part of the main package manager.
For me Void has been the best distro I've ever used and I've also been on it for over two years.
Same here! I couldn't do without anymore, and it had me stopping distro hopping for over 2 years already.

What do you think about chimera?
@@AmirHosseinHonardust I haven't quite tried it personally, but it does seem pretty cool, from what I have seen.
Void linux is fantastic
So is it like Gentoo!
