Patient: "yah that feels better" Dr: "Ok so hes saying it feels better" Patient: "Why do you keep repeating me to the camera?" Dr: "Ok so what he's basically asking is why do i keep repeating him to the camera."
LOL...its a force of habit. Don't you hate it when your doctor doesn't actually "listen to you"? That's why I will tend to repeat what they say so they know I heard them. LOL....
Wow how could you DARE ruin the first 10 minutes for us!? Here I am enjoying all the vowels coming out of his semi erect mouth and you come along to send me directly to the part of the video I came to see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????? How damn DARE you punk. BTW: Thanks, who knew he would talk for 10 minutes before giving me the good stuff..... You did actually. So thanks
Why does this have so many dislikes? The chiropractor seems caring, he explains what's going on with detail, and he responds to the comments..... (all of which I find awesome!)
Everyone is so mean in the top comments this man is a great doctor, I'd love to be this educated as I'm being healed naturally. What a wonderful person I hope he really loved what he does and has a fulfilling life
Lupafel....couldn't agree more about the "natural is not always better". One of the things I am always teaching my patients is that just because it is "natural" doesn't mean that it won't kill you. But, I am a big believer that any treatment provided should be evidence based. That being said, many "medical treatments" are not valid. Take for instance steroid injections. While many doctors (including myself on some patients) use steroids to get inflammation down quickly, it is not recommended for repeated treatment on the same area...however, many providers (not myself) treat beyond the recommendations.
Natural Health & Regenerative Medicine So I could have had a doctor administer my steroids this whole time? Good to know. No more shady foreign sites to buy my dianabol and test prop. Can these doctors prescribe the pills for after a testosrone cycle so the nipples don't get sensitive? Asking for a friend.
I started this video just too see the “big crack” and his relief and got sucked into watching the entire thing. Very good and intriguing demonstration of the muscle groups and the intricacy there.
I love seeing how relaxed and flexible people are after getting fixed. Just when he got up to lay on his back again and lift his leg. He just did it without his whole body being stiff
My parents owned a shop, so I feel for you. Biggest thing I see in mechanics is neck pain and hand numbness. Both of which can be treated easily, and I would suggest heading to your local chiro.
Its amazing when it works. Unfortunately, so many people nowadays are too far gone or want a quick fix. Its getting harder and harder to get people fixed quickly.
I had left ankle pain for years and favored it to the point of straining my left knee, hip, etc. Saw an awesome chiro in Kentucky and I literally cried when he adjusted my ankle. Not because it hurt, but because when I came off the table and put weight on foot, there was so little discomfort. I realized how long it had been since I had walked without pain. Our insurance now WILL NOT cover chiro. It is listed as a specific exclusion in the policy. Shame. Chiropractic care was an amazing practice that my wife and I both enjoyed and benefited from.
What a phenomenal video, this poor fellow was really in agony before the Dr.s amazingly impressive treatment. After this adjustment the patient actually hopped off the table. What a talent.
A few years ago, I started having to constantly move/crack/manipulate my neck. All day long. I'll try to stop and I can't. Sometimes it's worse if I don't sleep well. I'm afraid I'll snap my own neck someday. It's really affecting my life and driving me crazy. I have some health issues so I see different kinds of doctors but no one has ever had any idea what it could really be. It always hurts and it feels good when I get a real good crack but never feels satisfied enough to where it's comfortable and feels right. Since I was little, I've always carried stress/tension in my shoulders and neck a lot, but I'm 29 and only since about 3 or 4 years ago did this become such a big problem. Any idea which route to go?
Pamela Silver...Wow, there's lots of things this could be due to. Could be due to a dietary issue creating inflammation in the weakened areas. Could be a genetic condition known as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Could be an issue where your brain is craving "input". My suggestion would be either of these: 1) find a good functional neurologist (a chiropractor who specializes in neurology and functional patterns), or 2) find a good prolotherapist to talk about stabilizing weak ligaments. Either should do a complete work-up on you prior to treatment, including labs to look for inflammation, possibly genetic causes, etc. Once they have that info together, you may have a better understanding of where to go.
Natural Health & Regenerative Medicine Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it! I have thyroid issues and POTS, amongst other things, so was thinking it had to do with that but the drs I see for that weren't sure. EDS has come up before. Hmmm. Will definitely see if I can find a functional neurologist. Thank you!
I actually experied something similar. I started cracking my neck for about 3 months almost everyday. And got to a point where i would feel pain and the crackin somehow relieved it, but i just stopped and whenever i had the pain just rest, and in about 1 week everything went back to normal. Seems it was just a sore neck
Pamela Silver could be OCD. i “stretch” my shoulders all the time because it “feels good” but sometimes i do in in excess and it hurts for days. Could be a turret-like tic but I think its my OCD. Like if i try to not do it i end up doing it anyway
Yep. And, drink a crap load of water for most people. Half your body weight in ounces is a good start. Most people with this type of pain are extremely dehydrated.
Do you happen to know/ recommend anyone in the Halifax Nova Scotia area? I have had really bad experiences in the past with chiropractors, but I'm in desperate need of adjustment. Thank you in advance. (P.S. thank you for what you do. You're making people better one crack at a time. I also appreciate that you seem to take your time to assess the issue rather than simply going through the motions).
Laurie, sorry I don't know anyone except a guy in Ontario. My best advice would be to get a referral from someone you know. But, even that can be tough. Especially if the person you get a referral from likes different types of adjustments.
I'm from Halifax and I got a referral by going to accel physio and seeing a physiotherapist there. I forget who I went to see because it was some time ago, but they might be able to help you!
There is a man in Bridgewater named Pierre Bachand (spelling may be off) and everyone I know who has ever gone to him was impressed. There is also a guy in Shubenacadie I've heard of things about.
Im 19 and constantly have muscle knots in my shoulders, neck and back. My joints all over my body also crack very easily and actually start to hurt if i dont crack them myself. My back is the worst as i usually feel pain down my spine every day. Is there any need to see a chiro for this and could they help? Thanks a lot, very informative video as usual :)
Dakan Misty, there are a few issues which you may need to address with your doctor. At 19, there are several medical possibilities which would need to be ruled out for proper care. We often see chronic spine "popping" as a potential issue with muscle tone. But, that is just one suggestion.
Wow reading the comments on this are ridiculous. Why do people have to be so damn hateful. This was a long video but he was explaining what he was doing. I doubt this video was made for “crackaholics”. If you want to watch 30 minutes of ring dingers your on the wrong channel folks. Enjoy the video for what it is. I appreciate all the dialogue. It’s interesting to hear explanations for why the pain starts and how to correct it.
That's terrible. You need to find another doctor for a second opinion. While I do be that pain freedom may not be possible for everyone, they should at least provide you with alternative solutions. Whether that is going to a specialized diet which reduces inflammation, doing yoga, PT, Massage, etc.
Holy shit! My brother's doctor just said that too him the other day at his appointment! Spooky. But seriously, wtf is that? Hes 30 years old, 6'2, and has days where he can barely get out of bed because of back and hip pain. Even our chiropractor is not helping as much as it used too, We are afraid he is going to have too have surgery, and if he gets crippled, its going to effect our family badly, of course it would, but he is a big help to the family. Its scary, it used to be doctor's checked you out, found the issue and fixed ya, Now its 8-10 doctors, all with different opinions and often differ from the other doctors. In the end your fucked. They have my mother on more pain medication then most 2 people put together, and now she is dependant on them, too the point they are most likely making the pain worse. And if she stops, she will go into withdrawal, so yeah, my opinion of doctors has been jaded over the years...
I had a similar thing happen to me. Its really hard to come to grips with the concept that you are not going to be as you were. As someone who went thru this, I strongly recommend seeking out a therapist or someone to talk to as it can lead to depression. Also, making yourself pain free may not immediately occur, but can be feasible years down the road. Its a lot of work and consultations, but ultimately it is very possible to improve to a point of full functionality. I started not being able to work or even get out of bed (which also sank me into a deep depression and became suicidal). Its now almost 7 years later and my life has never been better: job, married, and able to do almost everything I could before. My recommendation, do not wait for a doctor or someone else to pull a magic solution out; get proactive and start figuring out things that make your pain better and worse (I kept a journal for 2 years for sleep patterns and everything I did so I could determine what hurt me and what made me feel better). Try massage, Physical Therapy, accupuncture, trigger point injections, yoga, weight training, etc.; you will find somethings work great and some don't. Finally, seek a chronic pain specialist; no one wants to take pills, but if you are in chronic pain, they can let you resume your life and find a way out of the hole. I wish you the best.
OMG They gave me the exact same answer (in Europe). Saying the back is such a difficult area they just focus on reducing the pain without addressing the problem.
I always wanted to learn to be a chiropractor. One showed me how to do a light adjustment on my horses just for their general health. I learned a horse uses it's head to adjust weight when in pain, in turn it causes the teeth grind unevenly to an extreme causing a wealth of other problems. Giving them some good simple cracks helps with their over all health!!
Man i need this so bad. Been in pain since 2009 and it has changed my life entirely. Not mention being a 24/7 caregiver to my eldest sister. Time to find me a thorough Doc.
I remember one time when I went to the chiropractor and he cracked my neck and it scared me but once I realized I wasn't dead from a broken neck I almost died of laughter
I had almost this EXACT same issue as this guy. My Chiro did 3 - 4 adjustment sessions over a month and since i have been perfect. I know that feeling this guy had at the UMMMPH, and then the moment that you lay there like WTF just happened to me. It's such an amazing difference.
I know just how it feels. At first it hurts and you’re like, “NONONONO STOP, THAT DOESN’T FEEL RIGHT!” Then when the crack happens you’re like, “OWwwww...... wow I actually feel relieved and way better.”
I crack my fingers everyday and my back a lot too but not everyday i think i might have an addiction to cracking stuff if there is an addiction like that
Actually....your brain does start "needing" it. To put it in simple terms, it becomes "used to" the extra movement, and feels "weird" when there isn't any. My suggestion: stop doing it and in about 3 weeks the "need" sensation would start going away. But, it will be tough to do that. If you have a DC as part of your healthcare team, I would talk to them about changing the style of treatment...from a "Cracking" to a "non cracking". See my "grandpa floats video"...that may give you some insight.
Bont the viking: no. I am not aware of any studies that shows cracking your knuckles or fingers is bad for long-term issues. Mine crack all the time actually.
Why do I always end up here at such weird hours 🤦🏾♂️ it’s 3:39AM.

lower back pain from falling at work and the doctors tell me the goal isn't to get you pain free but to make it tolerable

I like the fact that He's got a doctor that wants to help him and is trying to do it in a way that will not require coming back. Rare !
Agreed. No one has helped me and I've been to the chiropractors multiplr times.
Leah Waggoner thanks I will keep that in mind next time I go to the barn.
How did I get here

Man i need this so bad. Been in pain since 2009 and it has changed my life entirely. Not mention being a 24/7 caregiver to my eldest sister. Time to find me a thorough Doc.
Where you at? I have a good network of docs if you need a "good one".

I remember one time when I went to the chiropractor and he cracked my neck and it scared me but once I realized I wasn't dead from a broken neck I almost died of laughter
The years have not been nice to you, Hawkeye.
Rocco I was thinking the same shit... ahahahah.. I'm dead..

It's great the way some people can do the simplest things with a slight adjustment make all the pain disappear.

My Chiro did 3 - 4 adjustment sessions over a month and since i have been perfect.
I know that feeling this guy had at the UMMMPH, and then the moment that you lay there like WTF just happened to me.
It's such an amazing difference.

That's a hell of a title.
I know just how it feels. At first it hurts and you’re like, “NONONONO STOP, THAT DOESN’T FEEL RIGHT!” Then when the crack happens you’re like, “OWwwww...... wow I actually feel relieved and way better.”
LOL...NEVER heard that before (pretty much every day). LOL
Natural Health & Regenerative Medicine but cracking fingers itself is not a bad thing for the joints?
I stopped cracking my knuckles and now its reaally hard to get any crack out of them when i try
Bont the viking: no. I am not aware of any studies that shows cracking your knuckles or fingers is bad for long-term issues. Mine crack all the time actually.
That's the way to do it! Hard to stop though, isn't it?
When did Fedor Emelianenko become a mechanic?
