    I agree, ripping those big croches and but ends does chew up the gas. One thing to note is that ripping like that really makes some good fire starter. And when I started cutting like that is when I got my first 28 inch bar and bought a old homelite 82cc and that made a difference. And I'm like everyone else never a cat person till I retired 5 years ago and now our cat sets on my lap every night. great video

    As I watch you buck, I can see the big bins behind you. I wonder how your current inventory compares to this time last year in the old woodyard, and how your rate of production compares to that in the old woodyard, now that you have the concrete work area, elevator, more space to store logs, the processor right beside your logs, multiple trailers, and not having to stack all of your product. Those are a lot of changes in your production process. What difference do you reckon they have all made to your output?

    Question for the other dump trailer owners.
    Is it pretty much standard operating procedure to plug in your trailer over night ?
    For battery charginging ?
    Do any of you
    employ a dual battery
    set up ?

    • @waynetharp
      @waynetharp Год назад +1

      The toolbox area on most trailers is not big enough for an extra battery. It could be done but not as simple as plopping another one in the box.
      They operate off of trickle charger, so it takes a long time to fully charge once low. They also charge off truck battery when running,but again. You would need to drive 12 hours to ever fully charge. Basically, they do not need plugged in all the time but after several dumps in a short time span. It is nice to know they are fully topped off and ready to go again.

    • @jeanvaljohn3921
      @jeanvaljohn3921 Год назад +1

      So not the optimal design for woodyard use.
      Works great ,awesome trailer. Arguably the best.
      So to alleviate 50% of the charging concerns
      One would have to plug it in every night or make it hydraulically compatible with the kioti tractor.
      🤔🤔🤔

    🤦‍♂️...took me a minute... I'm thinking, hold on, why is Chris setting those panels up facing South? And then i remembered, that's the way the sun tracks on the top side of the planet. Down here Under Down Under, it goes through the North...👍💪🪓🇦🇺

      I thought about it but the wind comes from everywhere and the sun is on all sides but the north, so maybe running the rows north and south would be best????
