Hey Mark! It was great to hear your commentary from the cab again! I truly appreciate the way in which you honor our service men and women and our first responder public servants! Thank you for taking time on your videos to express thanks and appreciation to all of our military, fireman, law enforcement, emergency/ medical and many others for their daily sacrifice In maintaining our freedom and our safety. They are all heroes!! You, Eddie and the crew have a great week!
I'm just a city slicker but I find something totally mesmerising about watching you sawing logs plus your calm soothing voice with no sense of hurry just amazes
Mark & Eddie, thank you for the remeberance of our heroes - our people on the hijacked airplanes, our dedicated civilians working their jobs, everyone who happened to be in airplanes everywhere in the world who were aided by people who took them to their homes in foreign countries, assisted by retailers who had not enough clothing/food to care for all these travelers, and to our countrymen throughout the world to assist all people deal with this crisis. Our first responders gave their all. Thank you, John
I'm a classic rock kinda guy but I have had no problem with music made for your videos. Keep it going, there will always be haters. You just have to ignore them and listen to those who care about what you are doing.
Thanks for the video mark and crew. I remember our airspace and tarmacs around Canada became quite busy with the airspace shutdown in the U.S.A. Didn't really notice the increase at first because I was clued to the TV News coverage.
I was home in Surprise Arizona, about 6 or 7 miles north of Luke Air Base. I hadn’t realized how loud the planes were (F14s) until they weren’t flying. They were flying in pairs around the Phoenix area for months afterward. The first day they were able to fly, they put all the planes on the tarmac and started them all at once. What a sound! Those planes flying in pairs were a great comfort at that time.
Thank you Mark thank you Eddie number one thank you Eddie number to tell Eddie number one watch out there's a guy named John Clark trying to take his job and he's even Samhain watermelons you got to watch that John Clark guy he even said he was cutting Pine logs calling them coconut laws I believe John's been smoking something I'm just picking hahaha
Watching these videos has me innovating into auto mills. I like to see others solutions to the process, I'm leaning towards vertical reciprocation even though big bands have some advantages, the straight bar is clean.
Glad everything turned out all right. The rot is in everything. And you don't need any music. The bus motor and saw is a gracious plenty. Glad yall had Cousin Sponge Eddie too. A cutoff running does a lot. GBWYall! Thanks, Mark! Ands I was driving a mixer, pouring sidewalks when 911 came down. Got back to the plant and the dispatcher had it on t.v.
Bit late watching tonight finished welding up the rollers watching you guys while they cool and having a brew before I start turning them back to size it’s four in the morning in the uk
Nice to see a fellow Hungarian (Eddie) working the sawmill in many of your videos. Have you ever sawn southern live oak? I'm fascinated by the grain on that wood. It's also super durable, suitable for almost an type of construction.
Great video, Mark. Nice and long. I felt the same way you did about being a small plane when I first heard. BTW - John claimed to have won the ugly log contest yesterday. Take care. Bill
Nice cutting. I think the music in a video like these just interferes with and covers the neat sounds of the machinery. If others are like me they want to hear the saw ripping into the wood and the howl of the big DD 6-71. I have watched other vids (not yours) where the music just turned me off the whole video. Then its a waste of time. Cheers from Manitoba land of the black spruce.
You might consider an ear corn elevator off the end of your swing saw instead of the loader. I used one off the end of my wood splitter to pile the firewood. You may not have the necessary room for it to access your sawdust bin.
I noticed that you’re much better at turning the timber these days without gouge the hell out of the timber and now you do a very good job turning them without damaging the timber
I had been retired for about a year at 911 and was watching CNBC in my pajamas. I was an active market investor. I recall seeing the news halted to show one tower burning and as I was watching the second plane hit. I recall telling my son via email that “there will be hell to pay for this”.
If people are watching a couple good country boys running a sawmill and they don't like bluegrass music - there's definitely something wrong with them.......
Your multi camera editing is improving. Good work on that. Rather a shame that you struck out on 2 of those logs with not much lumber to show for the sawing effort.

Just subscribed. Would watch this just to listen to the old Detroit.
For those of us who use resin (river tables, cutting boards, etc.) the “rot” is salvageable and pretty! Especially in the Cherry.
Resin lets your imagination run riot. 😁 (...and covers a multitude of sins)
very true.
Hi Mark and Eddie. Wow another interesting video. Checking in from Jamaica 🇯🇲🇯🇲🙏💯
thanks Lloyd.
Nothing wrong with a little BlueGrass once in a while but this 60 yr old will still stick with my Alice Cooper.
Hi, I'm new here and learning a lot. And you can play all the Blue Grass you want, I love it. Enjoyed your video thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the edger work. I finally got how you run it. I ran many kinds of production lines and I love to see things work. Good video.
glad you liked it.
Thank you for the video.
Excellent camera work Mark. Thanks for taking the time (you and Eddie), to make these videos.
thanks Erik.

Technology is great Mark, but nothin beats Hunkie ingenuity!
very true I like that!

Great video Mark and Eddie. Hope both of you are keeping well. Take care.

I love country and bluegrass music
That was a great job you guys did on that huge log on one of the latest videos. Keep up the good work. Happy New year to you and your families.

Junk happens. It is what it is. You did great!!!!
thanks Karen.
I never knew Spongebob work with ya! 👀🙂
yes he does.
Really love the multi cam shots 👍
Finally get to watch some of the other operations!
I'm just curious, but would it be beneficial for you to have a debarker on site to run the logs thru before cutting ?
no sir.
I’d love to have some wood chips from that messed up Cherry for my smoker.
I listen to bluegrass now and then. Keep smilin
me too Darren.
It's nice to see how you trim the boards. Do you ever explain the 4 quarter. Do you cut standard boards and what are the dimensions?
thanks Robert, yes we do.
That second cherry had some nice color!!😊👍
yes it did.
Nice to see a fellow Hungarian (Eddie) working the sawmill in many of your videos.
Have you ever sawn southern live oak? I'm fascinated by the grain on that wood. It's also super durable, suitable for almost an type of construction.
Ok then what is 4/4 measurement exactly? If it's not one inch or is your set works adjusted for it to be 1and an 1/8th instead?
Would like to know the answer to this as well! I don't understand what he was trying to say 4/4 is not 1 inch?
Again mark can you tell me what your definition of 4 quarter is if it's not one inch I have known it as one inch my entire life
Great video, Mark. Nice and long. I felt the same way you did about being a small plane when I first heard. BTW - John claimed to have won the ugly log contest yesterday. Take care.
Bill
thanks bill , John is having a blast at the steam show.
You win some, lose some. In the long run winners come out ahead.
Good Evening from South Africa.
good evening Dawid.
Any way to get some of the Cheery firewood pieces?
Good job guys!🎚🙏🇲🇾🇲🇾
thanks.

Match sticks brother 😆 🤣
Yay, bonus video.
yes sir.
I thought 4 quarter meant 1 inch. Thanks for teaching me something new
I liked the longer video, the only thing better would be three per week rather than two.
glad you liked it.
@@markgalicic7788 And tomorrow is Friday Eve!
Those logs were nasty, but hey look on the bright side, at least the weather was nice and the sound was on.
a good way to look at that.
You might consider an ear corn elevator off the end of your swing saw instead of the loader. I used one off the end of my wood splitter to pile the firewood. You may not have the necessary room for it to access your sawdust bin.
the loader works better for us.
I noticed that you’re much better at turning the timber these days without gouge the hell out of the timber
and now you do a very good job turning them without damaging the timber
yes it takes many hours of running a mill to learn it.
Good Job! You didn't say 'BOOM' or 'Man Glitter' throughout the whole video. Well done.
I had been retired for about a year at 911 and was watching CNBC in my pajamas. I was an active market investor. I recall seeing the news halted to show one tower burning and as I was watching the second plane hit. I recall telling my son via email that “there will be hell to pay for this”.
yes a very bad day.
Your an easy man to listen to
Wow when you get a bad one you do it in style. Don't know if the resin guys could use it. 🤔 take care guys
Fine job and audio was great
thanks Bill.
"and if you dont like the video" send it to good old john at fricknjeep lol another brilliant channel
yes sir Marc.
That 1st cherry would have been great firewood.
it made a few boards , sawdust and slabwood . A win win for us.
Always sawwith the sweep either up or down. You will get more wood out of it. Sawing the bow out first is the opposite of how it should be done.
I watched Frick cut a log,I prefer your setup lol
you had audio.how often do you have to setvice the edger blades?
Who lives in a pineapple, under the sea? Cousin Eddie!
good one John.
The log turner was pretty hungry this time.
it's always hungry.
Who owns this Good mill
So Mark when you saw junk you still have to charge for your time right??
nice day, i need to stop by one day.
stop by sometime.
I was in Frederick, MD. Sad day.
yes very sad ! Never forget!
Mark...too much work going over here..sadley I won't be able to make it up your way on the 18th
yes I know about that , we hope to see you someday.
Un saluto da Trieste Italia
I love bluegrass
Does your inner cabinet-builder want to cry when you see that rotten cherry?
yes it does David.
what exactly is red rot?
If people are watching a couple good country boys running a sawmill and they don't like bluegrass music - there's definitely something wrong with them.......
yes very true.
At long last, I think I know how the edger works. Ha!
glad you liked it.
Its hard to keep good dunnage around the mill, everyone scampers off with it.
yes the more we saw the more they take.
I think some one has said . Not all trees make logs and not all logs make lumber . My biggest regret is sending pallet wood or fire wood to the kiln .
this won't get dried just FAS & #1com.
Your multi camera editing is improving. Good work on that. Rather a shame that you struck out on 2 of those logs with not much lumber to show for the sawing effort.
thanks , we still got some nice boards out of the junk.
hey Mark you can't out of a log what is not there 12 16 2021
I left offshore just after the 2nd plane hit we flew the last part w/2 f-16 escorts
Hey Mark, isn't 4/4 actually 1 1/8? Or am I mistaken?
yes thats what I said .
Why not play the Village Stomper - Wahington Square (HiFi Stereo).
👍👍
thanks Tom.
We in Indina saw no contrails after this time for a while
First time I was ever the 1,000 viewer
good timing.
So when you get logs with inside rot, I assume you loose money on those as you've obviously paid the going rate for the logs
no we cut on the share so any thing we get is money for both .
Looks like you are sawing a bowtie 😆
yes it did.
Surely there is a table leg in that cherry
we did get some nice cherry out of them maybe a full table.
Four quarter is 1 inch and a 1/8 one inch is 15/16th
Some of them logs are really ugly on the outside but its whats in the inside that counts. Like people too I guess.
very true Phil.
Do you own the yard?
no sir.
Wow, those were some pretty bad cherry logs. I hope you didn't pay much for them.
Most all his logs are free.
no we saw for 50/50 share.
No offence on bluegrass on my part!!!
