B.I songwriting is amazing as usual. But i also love how the members are able to execute them very well. Their emotional delivery is just one of the best. This is what makes a good song for me - a combination of good lyrics + delivery. And the vocalists and rappers are able to do this so well. Even if they’re more known as a hiphop group, their ballads just hits differently.
Crazy how after they released this song, we were not OK cause B.I left 💔 Anyway, Bobby's verse on this song is my favorite. I really love iKON sad songs, I recommend APOLOGY and GOODBYE ROAD
B.I has always stood out when it comes to writing sad lyrics. He always uses words beautifully and uses subtle metaphors. My favorite sad song is "Goodby Road" and "Perfect"

B.I doesn't deserved to be hated i mean all his thoughts and feelings are shown through his lyrics and will make you feel a connection with the songs because they are so relatable. he treasures iKONICS/ID's by making songs for them/us that's how he show his love for his fans.
I'M OK literally means I'M NOT OK.... the first verse is about life, the second about love.... "MY ANSWER WILL ALWAYS BE A SMILE IF ANYONE ASKS HOW I'M DOING" that verse hit hard.. Those stacks of chair symbolises the chaos he had to go though to get himself back on top although he's all by himself, those wall of luggages represents his excess baggages that continue to file up without him realising and when he tried to break through from it, its already too late, he's trapped/stuck.. and those plastic empty battles represents how he looks good and neat on the outside but empty on the inside.. And the exploding car is actually him finally exploding, he couldn't take no more that resorted him to finally breakdown(on his knees), i'm not so sure about the straight up latter reference but its somehow similar to being on the edge all the time and like falling on a cliff where any wrong move its over for him, the other where he's peeking on the hole represents how he knows what's been going on around him and all the people around him but he chose to distance himself cuz he's tired of everyone else putting a fake front.. The parachute I guess is him falling hard in life but getting back up and thriving i'm also not sure on that part😂😂

This song is somethinh which I play on loop in highest volume (on my earphones) when I desperagely want to scream or cry, but I am not able to or not allowed to express my emotions. This song feels like an inner scream and helps me to kind of release my emotions when I feel extremely collapsed and lonely.
It has that ability to draw out every emotion you are feeling! It’s a great song to listen to outdoors alone so that you can scream and get out whatever is weighing heavy on your chest

In the same way that Ritham Ta criticized the life of an Idol, I understand that I'm ok has its dose of criticism of the k-pop world in which they live, always having to show their talent and their 'persona' public and never the true human being, with each person's natural flaws and needs. I also love B.I and his poetry. My favorite song is Apology.
I didn't appreciate this song that much at that time, but it's one of my favs now. I personally think this song is a masterpiece. I especially love the vocals of June and Jay at the end.

Plus you can see the dance and the live vocals are amazing as usual. This is my favorite iKON song. It didn't start out as that, because I was an iKONIC before a sad event happened in my life, but as I went through mourning the death of my mother, everyone kept asking if I was ok, and I had to lie and say yes, I'm ok, because it made them uncomfortable when I expressed how much hell I was really going through. I quickly came to realize, they didn't actually want to know if I was ok, they just didn't know what else to say. I was listening to iKON to comfort myself, and Bobby's Runaway and this song just touched me so deeply, I knew someone else had gone through pain as I was experiencing. They put on the mask and said I'm ok, and I don't want your pity if you see me crying because you really don't care anyway, so just pass me by. That was EXACTLY how I felt at the time, and just knowing I wasn't the only one was the first step on my healing journey. I will forever be grateful to them and B.I for this song, and as I said before, I will love these guys forever for all the gifts they've given me, this song being at the top of the list.
