So within the overarching DPR Ian lore there are different storylines you could say. One of the storylines relates to a relationship (and this is pertaining to fiction, not real life) where Ian and Mito were in love with the same woman. The lore is that she believed she was in love with Ian but really it was Mito. So when were hear him seemingly referring to himself in the 3rd person "Now he's looking for something meaningless" or "He loved you", this is referring to someone else. Also at certain parts instead of singing "I'm doing fine" he sings "I'm doing -ine" which means no matter how much he tries to convince himself, he already knows he's not actually doing fine."

Whenever you see him with one white eye it's supposed to represent Mito being at the front - whether it's an actual switch and he's wearing the white contact or he's using it to represent Mito. In an interview with Saywhatreacts, he has talked about his left eye where it's somewhat like delayed processing for him and he finds it a bit difficult to look at himself in the mirror due to being sometimes unsure of his identity. This I believe is a side effect of his having DID that's unique to him. We also see the use of mirrors here, with Mito looking at himself, trying to face the reality of his situation whether the mirror is showing the truth within reality, (seeing yourself as you are) or the truth within your emotional state (how you're actually feeling on the inside). Mirrors also have a significance irl because during the Regime Tour around 2022 I believe there were the use of mirrors on stage to help Ian identity who was present at the moment. I'm not sure if it was used for all concerts during that tour but a cross representing +Ian or Christian (his name) means Ian was at the front while tainted means It was Mito (since Mito was present a good bit of times). I think not doing one meant he and Mito were co-fronting (I think it was maybe during Nerves where he stood between the mirrors but I'm not too sure about that one). For now as you're a newbie, the video portrays both Ian and Mito. CL's mv 5 star can be related to So Beautiful and Nerves. Both Chaerin and Ian act as a couple in the mv. Also no, they've never dated (never been confirmed so not going to speculate on that).

And he’s also from Australia.

One tidbit about Ian is that the various emotional states that you see him in is really not acting. He confirmed during his interview with a friend Jre, that he's able to bring out certain emotional feelings due to memories. Also whenever he's in a low or manic high state that's all him, not acting unless there is a switch then one of the alters is fronting like e.g in So Beautiful, it's Mito during the black and white scenes.

In the end a song that could be about getting a woman out of his life because of all the harm, it's COVID. Poor Jimin suffered extra hard. He had a lot of abdominal pain and was taken to the hospital only to be told he had Appendicitis. Then also tested positive for COVID at the same time. So DPR is a company. Ian and DPR live are the co owners and co founders of DPR. It’s there company. And they have a few other artists. I think Ian is touring right now with DPR cream and DPR arctic. But I heard recently that DPR live recently left the company DPR to go and do his own thing and start his own company. Which props to him. As long as him and Ian are still great friends. DPR live now goes by his first name which is Dabin. I don’t know if he still owns half of DPR or if it’s all Ian’s now or not. But in this mv we see DPR live aka dabin.
