use voranj to attack the wasp directly and the kilver for the little ones and walk towards the boss when its safe to not get cornered too much, got him on my first playthrough on the second try with this
I like how the protagonist attempts to take a more peaceful approach to the monsters before he has to fight, makes you realize not all protagonists are all guns blazing. We need a game that’s more diplomatic and less shoot em up with big monsters

Thank you Gellot. You saved my bacon with your final boss strats. I was missing the speedrun, low percent, hard mode and no death trophies and decided to try them all in one run. Made it to Athetos at 2 hours and 17 minutes but there was just no way I could power through it and the platform glitch was patched. But thanks to you I got it under 10 tries into learning how to time my jumps. Of course I took hits but made it with over half health and oh how happy I am.
For uruku you could glitch the blocks in front of you so you don't have to hop and fire, and his laser has not hitbox when it sweeps back down while fading.

While I love Axiom Verge, I hate the bosses with a passion, the only one I kinda like is the third one, the first 2 are meh, and the rest are just so tedious, repetitive and boring.
I hated fighting all of these bosses except vision because you can’t technically lose to him, the athetos clone as he can’t fight back and athetos himself who I found easier than every boss in this game which is a shame as trace rising is my favorite theme in this game and that only plays during the normal bosses
Bosses had too much hitpoints and not enough variation in tactics. 2-3 different moves but not phases like other games where you get them to say half energy and they change shape and tactics. Still, overall a very enjoyable game.
I have to ask... Why does Trace have some, very visible in the Ukhu fight and sometimes in the Sentinel fight, have Scorpion parts coming out his back?

TBH, first 4 bosses seem to be somewhat clunky. E.g., look at 4:30 - it's not even shooting at player's position! Instead, it just shoots at a single spot all the time, leaving a safe place from which you can kill it. Then boss at 13:00. Leaving the room while boss fight is in progress? Wow...
The 13:00 boss is not a real boss tho, it's a miniboss even compared to the first one, it does not even count as a boss fight cause no music for bosses, location music.
Straight up didn’t know you could even beat the second boss by shooting him from the front. I accidentally damage boosted past him and then realized he couldn’t turn around and won real easy like.
Once you enter the arena run through the boss. You'll take a lot of damage but you won't die. The boss won't turn around to attack because you aren't supposed to be behind it, so you can just shoot it's weak spot until it dies. It will back up after taking enough damage so remember to back off when that happens. I hope this helps.
Had a lot of fun on this game but when I got to that hornet, ooooh boy I was fucking fed up with that shit and it took me about 3 hours to find out how to beat it but it eventually stopped moving and I killed it that way.
I don't think it is an ovesight. When you have the optional fireball weapon, you can get to the highest block with the help of the glitch mechanic and fire away without the boss being able to defend himself.
I wish that door locks upon first entry and opens only when boss is dead. And getting hit by anything causes insta-deadly ludicrous gibs explosion ala Mortal Kombat.
I enjoy this games upgrades, but I found the bosses were super disappointing to me. The game has so many fun movement abilities and upgrades, but the bosses never use any of them. The game definitely misses its potential.
Have you listened to the soundtrack? It's actually pretty good. Don't just take what you hear in the game to be how it actually sounds because the sfx mask it a bit.
This game absolutely fucking blows. Grossly overrated, even if it was statistically considered good, its only because people are belligerently stupid and will consume any media their tiny minds find thrilling. This game does so little right. unoriginal sound track, unoriginal boss fights, unoriginal MC (if you can even equate him to a character lmao). Some tracks are good but I swear 8/10 sound the same. Overall it’s fun if you like playiny shitty Metroidvania inspired games. I recommend purely so people are more aware of how terrible the VG industry has become.

Nice run, but I've got a tip for the scorpion boss - try the Hypo-Atomizer, he will melt like butter instead of taking an excruciating amount of time.

yeah the 13min part is kinda dumb, if you crouch in one of the little corners that attack never hits you anyways so you dont have to leave

My OCD wont let me leave the Gir-tab battle without getting his tail to move to the music at least once.
My only complaint is the bosses don't have life bars and they are just damage sponges. Some of these my hands started to hurt.

Я бы не сказал, что так уж просто. Эти прыжки вверх нужно очень точно рассчитывать.
NightHard он лёгкий, приседаешь и стреляешь с пушки которая пробивает насквозь, хилки потом с врагов выпадают
На харде лечилки с врагов не выпадают вообще. Да и общий урон, наносимый врагами, увеличен.
