But I really dig content like this, as it’s an area I know little about, but have clients that I’ll be sharing this with that’ll greatly appreciate it.

Hearing some of it strings a bit, but it’s the brutal truth. I’ll always appreciate that about you and JST in general. I think that’s also what superstars this channel from many of the others that are bigger. It’s not what everyone wants to hear BUT it’s what is CURRENTLY NEEDS to be said.

Dude nice style on the voice! Very unique yet still tolerable and most definitely suits you as a person. Incredibly cool dude. I've gone from making metal every day to making beats again recently mostly as a joke and a breather to help with writer's block, but glad to see you've been dabbling in the rap world recently. Good beans brother, keep it goin'!!!!!!!

Man I remember those old Joey Sturgis channel days. There was one video where he broke down glitch effects in Cubase with Morte Et Dabo, There was one of him using a Korg Kaos Pad on Attack Attack and some gang vocals. Little stuff like that. There was one video where the DAW Playback was so much louder than his voice. I was subbed on my older youtube channels, long before the thought of this one was conceived.

Another great video! I had an unrelated question though, I was wondering if you had any plugin recommendations to replace finality from JST. Finality has become a staple in my vocal bus but unfortunately after getting an M1 Mac it will no longer work! Literally the only JST plugins that won't work with Rosetta are Finality Advanced/Lite. I've gotten so comfortable with the controls and as something of a noob I'm not sure where to look for something similar. Any recommendations?

Thanks as always Miami _ Video request: Using sends, level TO the send ( FX Track), level OF the send (FX Track) and MIX level on the send track plugin (e.g verb) is there a sweet spot. Send TO FX tracks defaults at -6Db. Do I leave that well alone and adjust FX track level it was sent TO. Sorry, i'm making do but not 100% confident i'm making the best decisions (sounds good though)

I moved to Fort McCoy FL last year, I’m in the middle of noooowhere. I wish I could find other metal musicians around here to jam and record with lmao I’m primarily a vocalist. I play bass and guitar too, but nowhere near good enough to write a decent head banger. I cant just put out me shrieking and making guttural noises with nothing to go behind it. Idc how much reverb, compression, or how many layers you add, metal vocals will never sound musical without the actual music. I mean, sure it can be impressive and cool, but you cant jam to just that. When I lived back in Boston, I used to jam with my buddies all the time. I really miss it. Everyone around me in this area listen to country and the oldies lmao I’d scream over a beat, no bs. I actually practiced screaming to songs like Worldwide Choppers to help learn speed and breath control. I’d rap a lot with metal vocals because I saw something to be gained for my own style from it. I have audio gear, own a license for my DAW, I know basic engineering, how my chain should be set up. But I’m not skilled enough for a one man show.

Yep, metalheads are hard to find in some places. Your best bet for now would be to probably just seek out and network with people online. Hope it works out for u!

Great vid as always. I agree with all point but I have a question: Imagine that you want realese song of many genres like ambience, metal, classical, whatever. Do you create a "composer" account on social/spotify or do you split all "projects"? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure we're the only deathcore band with a 65-year-old vocalist.
Sometimes, what you might think is a weakness is exactly what makes you unique. Don't put barriers on yourself.
Hopefully this helps someone else reading this🤘
