First fully completed music promo by EVE Productions... if you're wondering why it moves so fast, well we only had a Super 8 camera that filmed at 18fps and it had to be transferred at 24fps, so that's why it's all a bit crazy. Filmed in a disused swimming pool near the bands home in Twickenham, we were aiming for a Banana Splits type feel, with the bikes and skateboards, I think it works really well. Would have been a great advert for Converse as well...

Giorgio... How insane I found you here amongst randomYT comments. I only just heard that Mark died so was looking back through some stuff. X
They sure were, I was born in 1979 and I grew up as an 80s kid a 90s teenager and a young man in the 00s the 80s were just a brilliant time, does seem like another world away today.😢

In 1989 I was playing NES and watching Double Dare.. the look and feel of this video brought back those memories so hardcore...

Was this video filmed at the abandoned Twickenham swimming pool
think so! I've been on a personal odyssey trying to figure it out once I spotted the concrete diving platform in the background. If you're interested still, I found a photo on a site called 'Lost Lidos' and in there is a photo titled: Twickenham Lido - Opened on King George VI Silver Jubilee. The arches that you see at the very beginning of the video are in the centre of that photo; Mark and the band were positioned to the right of the central triangular roof elevation and there's some other window detail that you can identify/match up. I've lived in Twickenham since 2009 and had no idea how big the pool and the surrounding buildings were. This band are a big part of my teenage years and I'm finding it staggering I can walk around the area where they filmed this in '89, even though it's dramatically different now..
@@drembt2010 Brilliant, thank you for looking this up and sharing. I grew up near to Twickenham in 90s and 2000s so was always familiar with the area being derelict, think it became a park in about 2011? Great band and song and when I found out they were from the area I had my suspicion that it was here

Brilliant song. Had it on an old tape since the late 80's. Trying to work out the lyrics, nothing online anywhere, anybody know them?
They’re extremely easy to hear so you don’t really need them.
@Possessor not every one can process the audio the same, some people gave difficulties picking up the words
