The solid torque you speak of ( 9:25 ) is in part to the 25 hp hybrid boost that removes all lag while the turbo spools. That small booster and the engine itself put out around 400 hp. This engine is a refinement of previous inline 6s.

Did you read the sticker inside the windshield? It says do not exceed 3500 rpms, 85 mph, and aggressive braking in the first 1000 miles! Also, avoid downshifts. I am strictly following the manufacturer’s advice on mine - only 860 more miles to go!😉

What you didn’t mention was whether or not this vehicle is equipped with the AirMatic suspension and 4 wheel steering. Equipped with that package, the E450’s ride is like butter and very quiet. Even with large wheels like this one.
Can’t wait to purchase one.

These are great cars and 10 mins cant do them justice with just like 4 min driving annother 5 showing inside outside and features
These have 48 volt hybrid boost.i rather have older style gauges, screen seems like coo out to me. Give me some high quality analog for speed and rom. Its a must
Saw another reviewer that got 4.65 seconds 0-60. Definitely need to sell it before the 4 yr/50k warranty is up. Mercedes is ranked dead last in reliability.

E And C almost same features as S class. People call them S class on budget. And some people say If you wanna buy E or C, think again. Because If you add some of your budget, about 45 or 46000 USD you can buy S class
It's All about people's budget bro. If they can't buy S class, they buy E class. Even though The features "almost" same, but S class is higher trim. But The price is very different. E class is about USD 74,000. S class is USD 243,000. But S class "little brother", C class is about USD 52,000

I've noticed on every video the CD player is never mentioned you mean to tell me that it's not equipped?
No, it does not have a CD player - those have gone the way of 8-track players. I recently traded in an older Mercedes on a new E450 and forgot to take my CDs out of the 5 disc changer because it had been so long, I’d forgotten they were there!
Is the step-in height on the E series higher than the step-in height on other models?
Great car. May be perfect. No way could get brand new, will get a CPO. Only way to go with a Benz.
If you MUST have screens, they do interiors better than the competition. Compare this interior to what comes with an $86K Lexus. I hope they offer the option of wheels more practical than 22in, like 20 or less. These will be dented or scuffed in a week and the tires that go with them will be rough riding (likely run flats) and will need replacing in 15K miles.
Lexus doesn't have anything that compares anymore.
The E-class is not available with 22 inch wheels - the ones shown are the largest, 21inches. My week-old E450 has 20 inch wheels without a scratch - the sensors let you know when you’re getting close to curbs. The stock wheels are 18 inch, with 19,20, and 21 inch wheels as options. The Continental tires will last 30,000 miles on 4Matics. Lexus, of course, is no longer a desirable brand - it has zero cache now.
@@pacmanc8103 Yep, on further review this car has 21's. Is this your first Mercedes? Would be interested in your experience with the brand and with the presumably non optional run flats. I have heard nothing but bad reviews on run flats. Rough riding, uneven wear, hard to find replacements, etc. Nice looking car. Wish I could find one at a dealer in Houston to test drive. Have never seen one. Plenty of TVs!

@@brianbarbe9646 No, this is my 3rd (I previously had BMWs, which were solid but not as refined, imo) I’ve had no problems with any of my cars and I tend to keep them beyond their warranty periods. The only thing I find irritating with the cars is that it isn’t possible to rotate tires because the rear wheels are larger than the front ones. Honestly, with air suspensions I have not felt any roughness in the ride - this new E450 has a very buttery, quiet ride. Because of all the new electronic gizmos and 4 wheel steering, I did purchase the Benz extended new car warranty to 7 years/100,000 miles for extra peace of mind.
Regarding availability, I ordered mine November 1st, it was built February 21st, and delivered to the dealership in Portland on April 30th (through the Long Beach, CA processing center). One cool thing was that there was a link where I could follow the car throughout the process, including its ride on vehicle transport ship, the King Quest!😀

I do *NOT* like these new "aero" style MB wheels at all! Where are the deep offset beautiful wheels of the past?? Uggh. Of the Germans, Audi has by far the most spectacular wheel designs currently. Otherwise, I agree with the I6 this is the first true "luxury" Benz you can buy as the 4-Cyl ones are all more aimed at Sport vs. Luxury. That CLE 450/53 is gorgeous too. I'd just have to get rid of the ugly wheels for me to drive one.

Because it’s a true luxury vehicle. Not some non luxury brand charging a high price.
