It’s really not though lots of young teams finish top 3 in the standing to get bounced in the first round or did you forget about the grizzlies, or the wolves, the kings, Utah when mitchelle was there. And much more I can’t remember them all because it’s literally so common. Also he’s been good for a little over half a season 50 something games, yet he’s the same age as Luka, Tatum, Mitchell, and Trae. I really don’t see how he could be top 5 in mvp when he’s a Allstar but not a superstar bro isn’t even average at defensive. You can’t be up there and bad at 50% of the game otherwise Luka would have multiple MVPs by now.

Shai is one of best defensive guards in nba averaging over 2 steals per game and a block per game and holding his opponents to one of lowest fg% when he is the primary defender
@@IcebloodR11 Jokic is one of the best offensive players in nba history but his defence is one of the worst in the top 20 of all time when you look at his individual defence. He’s like curry on that end. Shai is like a Walmart version of MJ or Kobe that midrange and perimeter defence and free throw and 3 point shooting is sensational with 31 ppg on 55% from the field. It’s ridiculous.
The way people talk about Luka and Jokic because of triple doubles it would be hard even for MJ to win mvp because they put so much emphasis on offence barely any mention on defence
