Arken Age looks gorgeous! Gosh, PSVR2 is going to really start picking up this year. I can feel it.

Missed Riven when it came out and I'm reading the Myst novelization right now. Would be crazy to finally play it all these years later in VR.

Dynamic foviated rendering id a gsmechanger for vr. It should be compulsory for all headsets as makes such a difference
The PSVR2 news is looking amazing.. More games,more foveated rendering.. Now I'm hoping @Codemasters @EA jump on board.. According to GamertagVR,F1 2024 in VR is again only coming to PCVR

So I had a psvr1 and loved it. Just got psvr2 a week ago. Playing resident evil village on it. This video shows me there is games coming to the headset. All I hear is how there is nothing on it. I see quite a few games I wanna try on this video alone
Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the system a fair bit and there are definitely titles coming, but ngl it does come at a very slow rate, which feels a bit rough after seeing the rate at which quest 3 is getting new titles comparatively.
On this occasion I do believe Sony needs to step up their game on first party titles as we’ve had few to no new ones since the headsets launch. And If I’m absolutely honest, I am beginning to become a little worried Sony have all but abandoned support after poor sales. I was really hoping sales would gain traction at Christmas but unfortunately not so much🙄
Having said all that, there are 100% some great titles on the system already (some of the best experiences you can have in VR honestly), with a good few being system exclusives. Let’s just hope we get a few more in the not too distant future…

Me aggravating HyperVR games daily on Twitter to bring Shave and Stuff over finally worked. My youngest daughter has wanted this game for so long but I guess I will no longer get my hair done by her after she gets her hands on this game. Hoping they have a lot of success so they be will bring their other games over. If only ForeVR games would hurry and release Cornhole, her most wanted games list will be complete for now.
I'm so happy about Arken Age sad thing but I only can play for about an hour with reprojected games after slight headache

foveated rendering is such a game changer Sony should not have released the PSVR2 without first helping to create in engine compatibility with Unity and Unreal.

Stilt is so SO good. Feel like a lot of people are sleeping on it. Those stilts are just brilliant locomotion fun. So responsive, makes you really feel in control, unlike toss, which I also liked.. but this is closest to Mario in VR yet, in terms of pure platform fun.
Anyone know if Vertigo 2 has been patched enough to be worth a play yet? I see it's on sale now but want to wait until it's up to scratch before jumping in.
Purchased OVR Dark but it goes straight to a black screen. No image just sound. Anyone run into the same problem?
Lots of people run into this problem in lots of PSVR2 games. You need to go into your PS5's settings and disable 120hz output - it should work fine after that

I did play Soul Sacrifice, I got the Platinum Trophy and we beat hardest boss in the game. The giant floating evil and holy fetuses. Most intense 3 hours battle I had in a long time.
10/10 recommend
I will get Soul Covenant, I loved Soul Sacrifice and I want more Japanese VR support. Stride and Arken Age look good too!
I saw a review of a PSVR2 port of The Twilight Zone VR on some other channel. Is that one on your radar at all?
Yup, we've covered it extensively here on the channel. Love that it got a 90hz mode (after the original version running reprojected made me sick at launch) but it's super gimmicky. Some awesome ideas but it's barely worth playing through the boring parts to witness them

I think everyone needs to go on Cyan's socials and keep pushing for psvr2 releases! They've gone quiet on firmament now, which has me worried, but being an old gamer that grew up on Cyan games, then Myst, Riven, etc; it'd be a DREAM come true!!
They've always preferred to develop in pc/Mac, so let them know there's a want on ps5!! We myst out on myst vr, so push peopke, push!! 😂

the fact that the VR community's standards are so low that they are happy getting games like these is the problem.... you have a machine capable of Resi 4, GT7 and what you get is games that look like they belong 4 VR generations ago

Can someone confirm if Hellsweeper runs at 120 repro or native 90 on VR2? If it's native 90 I will get it instantly
It now runs at native 90 and looks gorgeous. They made a lot of other improvements as well. Definitely a must buy now. Especially if it’s still on sale.

Anyone knows why the best PSVR2 game Resident Evil 4 still doesn’t have a Review video on this channel ? I know this creator loved Village so I never got why he didn’t post any review for the RE4
Yeah, I talk about this a lot on Gamescast. It's an amazing game but it came out while I was working on the PSVR2 Award Show in December. I was already burnt out and since these reviews take 20+ hours to make properly I haven't had the chance to go back and get caught up on the 100 or so games that I haven't had time to review since the launch of PSVR2. It sucks and I wish I had more time to get more reviews done. But RE4 is a priority and I'd be surprised if you don't see my review in the next week! :D
@@WithoutParole greaaaat mate. I was waiting so bad for that review when the game came out and I finally started to play the game few days ago. I think the art direction overall isn’t as beautiful and creepy than Village but the action scenes are crazy good. Thanks again for your work dude it’s the only VR channel I watch 😂 oh wait only review I didn’t agree with you was Vampire in Venice. I really didn’t like the game it felt low quality 😜
How will we be able to fins out when the 90hz genotype update huts? Seems like the company should at least let us know its on the way. I understand the launch was not supposed to occur, but since we have no control on that, we could at least find out when the patch will arrive instead of playing the worse version of the game.

Dev said, big day one patch hits on april 6or7. i dont know if graphics are in it as he stated they super optimized the game from inception . So game may not need it, but all the major bug fixs will be on April 6 or 7. Happy VR'ing. 😊
