All 599's have the same 6.0L V12 from the Enzo, the only difference with the engine is that the GTO came with an upgraded race crankshaft, intake, and exhaust, and obviously the GTB was detuned slightly but it's easy to wake it up with a couple of mods

It's the headers. 599 GTB came with 6-2-1 headers. But GTO's came with 6-1 headers which gives this sound. "Fiammenghi" is an exhaust manufacturer that makes custom 6-1 headers for this engine and makes this car produced this "GTO like" sound.
To my ears its simply a street legal 599XX 🤯 so good
