Hi, I recently received a brand new NT710. Day 1 activated, indicating 85% battery life. I completed the registration process online. I turned it off. A week later, and this is my first time using the NT710, I want to work on a car today, and I can't get the scanner to turn on. I hit the orange on/off button, and all I see is a green light flashing a few times and a blank screen. I pressed and held the on button for 3 seconds with the same results. Now that I have the scanner plugged into the wall charger, nothing has happened after two hours. Please assist if you have had this issue or have a solution. Thank you so much; I really appreciate it.
It's a good scanner great all system scanner but unfortunately it wasn't for me I sent it back and got the topdon artidiag 800 bt and I'm glad I did as I picked up a code that this missed
Thanks, I was suggested the TOPDON artidiag800bt from a knowledgable person who uses OEM scanners for his vehicles. Still deciding this and the TOPDON atm
Hey can you do a video on a battery replacement on a BMW . Maybe coding a new Amps rating battery and then registering a new battery. Just so much information here with you then the manufacturer of this item. Also if so FRM and BCM coding if possible by this device be great.

I was about to buy the launch crp919x but after i saw what you have to pay for the update subscripting renewal after 2 years.... i looked for an alternative and i think this is it.
Great video. I have purchased an NT726 but it does not have the active test as you show in the video. Any idea why this may be? I live in Spain, purchased about 2 weeks ago and performed all the software updates etc but still no active test. Any ideas. Thanks

The problem I have is, when I touch the screen on the Diagnostic`s the screen just show`s History and all the different counties but no makes of Vehicles. Ive looked in all the setting and can`t see anything obvious. Any advice would be appreciated.

Can it do active headlight delete? I can't seem to find a comprehensive tutorial on this. I bought after market headlights and need to figure out how to code out the all function.
Not with this scanner, you'd need a coder/programmer for the module to stop reporting issues with the light (because it doesn't have the same functionality as OEM).

@@SimpleCarGuy I’m using a regular phone charger it takes 3-4 hours to charge and whenever it’s 100% full if I don’t use the scanner for 3-4 days the battery dies is that normal
You might want to use an iPad style charger that’s 2 amps. It’ll charge 4 times faster. I turned mine off when not using, it’s quick to power back on and it lasted a couple of weeks
I would love to demonstrate, but key fob programming does not work on BMWs. If you have a ford, chevy etc. it's fairly simple, you just follow a few instructions and hold the key close to the steering column. (they tell you what to do, basically).
This review is misleading. I recently purchased this watching this video. It has no bidirectional capabilities at all. Like it shows in this video “ diagnosis,service functions, active tests” the scanner I bought only had only diagnosis. I tested it on many newer cars especially bmw..none of them showed those options.all software up to date
@@ibarratony5203 it has no problems. It doesn’t have bidirectional capability like this video shows. Also when we select our car model ,the data for that make takes a long time to load. Battery drains faster. If the battery runs out it switches off even when it is plugged into cars obd.
Service functions often get confused with true bidirectional functions. Unfortunately, too many RUclipsrs saying bidirectional when they REALLY mean it can reset service reminders
@@SimpleCarGuy I had it on a snap on Solus scanner and it was quite useful...it has zeroes for all of the cylinders and the number goes up for each cylinder each time it sees an immediate misfire.
I had no idea this scanner was so capable! Who knew it had bi-directional capabilities and could actually do actuation testing! VERY COOL!
So will this also scan OBD1 as well?

Had issues reading wheel speed sensor,. It starts reading all wheels just fine but then it stops at 29 mph, any ideas?

I didn’t experience that, not sure. I would recommend a higher capacity adapter (2+ amps)

I did shut mine off and after sitting for 3-4 days the battery was completely to zero

Does that mean it can not retract the electronic parking brake and expand it back to allow me to compress the caliper pistons ?
