Dammit, it’s just hit me now - such an improvement would be if the Cobra symbol on the glass was printed and not a sticker. Show me a Flight Pod that doesn’t have that sticker lifting or kinked or not fully adhered. Classified version got this right!
If I could have ANY vehicle in the real world, the Trubble Bubble is it. I love it so much
I love the Trubble Bubble! It's a classic Cobra design, light armor makes it fast and nimble, and being a VTOL, makes able to launch from anywhere. Pilot drivin, or operated like a drone this thing is cool, I mean it's a jetpack with a Lazyboy recliner attached to it. I also love that scene in the movie where a pair of them are patrolling around the Terrordrome. Thanks for another great episode guys!!!.......burg.
As someone who was only around when vintage Joe was on its last legs, I only have experience with the Cobra Invader, having seen how powerful it is in the video game. When I saw the Flight Pod in the cartoon, it kinda made the design of the Pogo, and the Buzz Boar by extension, seem normal to me as though they were part of the same development line. They all just seemed to fit what Cobra designs were like. It was only until I became a collector that I found out how only the Flight Pod is revered out of these three.
Can definitely say that although I still don't have as much attachment to the Flight Pod, I kinda regret passing on a 25th version when I saw one going for a decent price not too long ago (I currently don't go for a lot of vehicles due to space).

0:08:00 I bet Larry didn't like it. I am sure he was forced to use the Pogo for some reason and not the Trouble Bubble as much. Even though the Bubble was the (slightly) less ridiculous of the two.
I saw the Trubble Bouble one time on store shelves in 1986. It was one of only two times (the other being the Terror Drome) I asked for something other than a figure, and was told no (I usually knew not to ask and usually just wanted figures anyhow). The store in question was a Walgreens in our downtown area. I get nostalgic thinking of that store. Many memories of wandering its aisles It was a part of a block of stores and its second story had an old advertisement painting/mural of an old pharmacist mixing chemicals in beakers. They moved out of that location when I was in high school to a soleless building they are still in. The old building is gone, having been razed following a fire in that block of stores that started in a hardware store where I saw Zartan for the sole time on store shelves in 1986. Anyway, given my disinterest in most vehicles, I don't feel too bad for not having gotten it, but even I probably would have gotten good use out of a Trubble Bouble.
And, yes, I am purposefully spelling the second word wrong to get under Steve's skin. ;)

Trying to find a complete Bubble tbh. Since you can throw a mine in it and just have it on auto-pilot like the Second Glider Cobra made. (Original Glider for both sides is a grail item for me since it is so hard to find since it's so fragile. Complete with figure and accessories.)
I can’t say I’m too bothered to track down a glider. Design does nothing for me! Would you be interested in the reproduction versions?

GI Joe should have come out with a vehicle called the fly swater or bubble buster to combat this pest😂
I have 5 trubble bubble. It was the very first Gi joe/ Cobra vehicle as a child. The only thing I hate the flight pod toy. Is in today. Hold these guys with oily hands, plus with a humid tempreture of an average of 34° it the seems starts to yellowed and it the plastic yellows.
Man that’s rough! Anything above 30° and I can’t even think straight. Guess you’re gonna have 5 Tiger Force Bubbles…
@@gijoburg funny you should mentioned that. The phyton patrol flight pod's steering shaft is already yellowed. I still love the classic flight pod, just don't like it how it age especially in humid tropical climate like here in manila.

Also...GI Joes found in Japanese Thrift Store. While making RUclips standards, I would rate this TV-14 because well...it's a thrift store in Japan and you know the stuff they sell in Japan. -_-'
I always hated the term Trubble Bubble. It's too cartoony for me. I could never imagine actual soliders using those words. Flight Pod just sounds better.
It's easily one of the most iconic vehicles of the brand. Too bad the original is so prone to breakage. The 2008 one was a great update.
