If you are going to live here remember Thailand will not change for you you have to change for thailand. Basically chill and become as Thai as possible and everything will be cool, you will never become a Thai but can become part of the Thai community. I live in a small rural village as a single dad and this has been my experience.
Another thing that is tough to see are injured stray dogs...pet culture and rescues are not prevalent there..understandable if you are just trying to survive, but still hurts my heart..❤
Very true. I love the possibility that when the channel is doing well maybe we can start some sort of rescue. Be able to provide some people a good salary, and help some critters along the way. Win win!
Did a ten day trip last winter, wish I could have stayed longer. MAKE SURE YOU BRING CASH FOR EXCHANGE. If you are going to use ATMs, tell your banks that you will be travelling out of country, and give them an itinerary. Only the "Plus" network machines seemed to work with my Canadian cards. Also, the exchange rate at the airport just as you're exiting is pretty decent.
Poverty in Thailand is very low because the lifestyle can be quite inexpensive. Even the homeless on the beaches seem quite happy as many foreigners are quite generous with their earnings. Unemployment is also quite low in Thailand as the majority have augmented their wealth substantially due to these devices though they conceal it well. Unfortunately the social fabric has deteriorated from these devices ...
Here's a tip for people who are coming to Thailand for the first time: Drink locally bought yogurt, yogurt can help your stomach acclimate to local food, reduce the chance of food poisoning.
getting ready for 3 week trip there, I've really enjoyed your content esp how you convey yourself, the vibes are über chill and your info is very informative and succinct. keep up the good work, thanks
I think more personal interaction with the people of ALL WALKS OF LIFE so that folks who may want to go there thry can get a FEELING of what its like. Just guessing. Tryin to help. Thanx for the vids
Can you please make a video on what foods ypu stay away from. Even better do a food critic video of local food places/ street food ect. I dont think anyone has done a food only video where the good street food is and especially which street vendors make the best of certain dishes not every place has great dishes i only order gen chos at once place and if I want a different dish I have a different place for that dish. So would you maybe at the end of each video put a food vendor or table joint of what they do the best as an extra I think people would be interested in knowing that and you just have to add one place to the end of each video and remember try to include one dish they make excellent.
Only downside of the video (and I’m not sure it’s necessarily on your end) is that the audio was slightly out of sync with the video. Otherwise excellent video and keep on it!
The awful pavements can not be stressed enough. There will be holes, broken bits, plants, no pavements, trees, kiosks, cars and bikes. It makes a lot of areas difficult to navigate. And the low hanging crazy wires are a constant hazard and makes places look ugly.
Spot on, coming from America I've never not owned a skateboard for local transportation.. I almost paid to have one shipped here prior to me landing, but once I saw the roads and sidewalks I realized it would be far from functional here haha
I'm not sure what you mean exactly? If you mean coming in via the visa exempt program and then switching to a tourist visa? No, that has to be applied for before entering Thailand. However you can switch a exempt/tourist visa to most long term visas while in country.
@@tempustv ok just curious I’ll be there in a couple weeks and not sure if my visa will be approved before I arrive. I just want to know if I come without a visa would I be able to get one while there So I can stay 6months+ for medical treatment preferably without many visa runs
You're doing a great job on the content of your videos. You asked for feedback, so as kind as i can, your hand jesters can really distract from your message. Try to relax just a little and slow your hand movements just a bit. But please keep your energy. You have a great vibe! My the universe bring you an abundance of joy, health, safety and prosperity! You're doing awesome things!
Hi Tempus, Could you suggest an accomodation for a 3 months stay ? I found for a few weeks hollidays or for 6 months/ 1 year, but not between. Thank you 😊

I always tell people "My worst Thai meal beats anything I have had in the US." Good content, bud.
Exactly haha. Appreciate it!
if you buy meat sticks or chicken from the street carts you can ask them to reheat helps to kill off any possible bacteria.
I try and stay away from already cooked vs cooked in front of you

Yes and yes! Plenty going on for the ladies, and it's generally very safe in Thailand

Thank you for liking Thailand. Thailand welcomes you I wish you happiness. ประเทศไทยยินดีต้อนรับ
Thank you!
Good video man. I'll add - if you're not used to the "company" industry, you may see and hear some things that hit different, if you will...

As a general rule, not been able to flush toilet paper down the toilet is the most annoying thing for me.
That’s a normal problem throughout the developing world not just Thailand.
I alway throw it down the toilet.I'm thai.
Thumbs up 👍 Tempus
Thanks for the visit!

The most common cause of upset stomach is to much and far too spicy food.
But that is kind of an active choice to go crazy on that som tam.
Agreed. I have been known to punish myself from time to time hahaha

I actually think your hand gestures are pretty cool, and I noticed that before I saw his comment.
