Wow never noticed the bow you get as adult link is called fairies' bow, but the one you get in MM is called heroes bow just as TP, so the hero of time must have returned to hyrule after dealing with majora (so kinda disproves the link is dead theory)
I mean I disagree bc adult links time as the hero, canonically, never happened. So therefore he never actually pulled the bow out of the forest temple, so I think it was just moved
I really appreciate the amount of thought you put into the content of your videos, and the many minor details you tie together into a cohesive picture. Keep it up!!
Wow! I never really ever gave the Goron mines a second thought, but now I'm taken aback by just how important and interesting they are. From what I've seen, your videos are put together very well, so consider me subscribed! :D
I completely support this theory!!!! Everything you said are things I have thought, and its like I can finally send my friends a cohesive video to support the theories I have (and share with you, apparently. :3 ) I love your channel, you totally have a new subscriber!
Every video I am swept away by your voice, amazed that there could be a girl who likes Zelda even more than me, and then... BAM black screen. Lol but really, your videos are GREAT. A lot of what you say I instantly consider fact, and happily spread it as such to my friends. Sometimes I wish you had an outro, but you have my undying loyalty as a fan even without one. Keep up the good work!
One thing you missed is that those handprints are found in metal, and so probably not human. I think it's more likely that the Goron elders also act as teachers for young Gorons. The handprints are kind of like the handprints you see hung up in a kindergarten class.
"You do not remember me , but in a different timeline I am your sworn brother. Your son will be named after me." - Link must've had a lot of fun messing with people when he got back from Termina.
You're missing one detail: The death mountain present in TP isn't the same one from OoT. From my research, it's either the 2nd or the 3rd volcano, depending on if the 2nd kakariko village was actually make next to a volcano that was later made dormant or extinct.
i don't remember if there were bombflowers in tp bombs used to be made of bomb flowers right where did they go (assuming they aren't in tp i don't remember)
I Think You Are Right That It Might Be What Was The Dodongo Cavern Since Twilight Princess Takes Place After Majora's Mask And Ocarina Of Time In One Of The Split Timeline Also Yes I Too Believe The Gorons May Have Built The Machines And Such Inside The Goron Mines
if the gorons set up traps for non gorons, then would it not be illogical to bring hylians into the mines where the beamos could kill them. I think the small hand prints and chairs are probably remnants of a goron school, possibly teaching them to grow up to be miners like their parents
In the theory of the temple of time you said that link from TP was sent to awaken Rauru while the hero of time was sealed so if he was sealed how could he give the bow to the gorons so link from TP could obtain it?
I think she probably meant when he was sealed after he took the master sword. So at a different point in time than he would have given them the bow. So young Link pulls the sword from the pedestal and goes into a 7 year slumber. During this time, TP wakens Rauru after having gone back in time through the Temple of Time. The rest of OoT happens, adult Link is sent back to his childhood and causes the timeline split by telling Zelda about Ganondorf. Then, he goes to Termina, acquires the Hero's Bow, and eventually comes back to Hyrule. After that, he gives the bow to the gorons.
Thank you for replying before and thanks for the video. I'm now a subscriber. By the way, don't you think that Volvagia influenced the Goron tribe as a whole? Their sacred Fire Temple was build around it, and now they are mining...for bombs? I don't think so. Maybe they are searching for something, like their legendary Megaton Hammer that got lost duo to time. Don't you think it's strange that this temple has the Hero's Bow?. Wasn't that the weapon of the Forest Temple?. And I think that the hands on the wall, means the Heroes of Time that visited them in the past as a way to be sworn brothers.
Hey :) I do think Volvagia had a lot of influence on the Goron from Ocarina of Time, but we don't see the Fire Temple in Twilight Princess so I can't make any assumptions on if they still do in that Era. The Goron Mines are definitely not the Fire Temple from OoT for the reasons I mention in the video. The Goron in OoT grow bomb flowers as the ingredients for the bombs and mine for food in Dodongo's Cavern. Perhaps the need for the difficult to grow flowers was no longer necessary with whatever they are mining now in Twilight Princess.
One question! What was the last song you used for this video? Sounds familiar but just can't remember XD Also, pretty good explanation! Gives it a lot of sense, and I dare to say, the information you give might make a way for a forth timeline to split startting from ocarina XD
Hey, what do you think of the lack of Gorons (and many other OoT races such as Dekus and Zoras) in the fallen timeline? Do you think it may have been that Ganon actually wiped them? (Or in the case of the Zoras, were either warped or became aggresive)
Where are you from? I love your accent. Also I love these, I haven't been able to find good Theorists lately other than a select couple of theorists I have been following for a few years. Sub gained!
Yep, Dodongo's Cavern started out as a place where the Goron mine for edible rock and later in Twilight Princess they also mine for bomb ingredients. In OoT the Goron use bomb flowers instead of mined materials to craft bombs.
I know a good idea for a video you can do how the kokiri and zora adapted to the flooded hyrule it makes sense the zora became rito you think water would make it better for them well theres giant octos and all these other dangerous fish in the sea now and the kokiri as the koroks it makes sense they can fly now and travel they world to replant the forests and gorons well they didnt evolve why not no one knows but you do find 3 in wind waker and a whole island in of them in phantom hourglass and the ones in phantom hourglass is just a small village so most of them must of drowned or something
Kitkatblah Gorons can't drown. in twilight princess there's a child goron practicing holding their breath underwater but ends up being miffed at the fact that he doesn't seem to need to come up for air. the goron in the Zoras domain didn't need to breath either. both were even able to talk underwater indicating they don't even need air to function. perhaps the ones in the future just live underwater? safe from all the air breathing monsters since they now live at the very bottom of the sea. Gorons seem to be able to live in cold climates as well, since the adult goron in the zoras domain seemed to like the cold water excitedly calling it a "cold spring" and even considered it refreshing. I theorize that the ones living above water are only the ones that want to stay in contact with the people living on the surface or just prefer their traditional hotter climates.
Both mines are used for explosives e.g. The bomb flowers and the mystery rock the Gorons later mine as a ingredient. Do you think the Gorons actually still mine for food?
It's strange how death mountain changed from a normal looking volcano to a colossal round shaped mountain with lava flowing all around it. Btw do you know what the weird, giant flake looking rocks are that surround death mountain in twilight princess?
Vortexxy, did MM Link still do the stone things and save the gorons from the dodongos? I'm confused if he was sent back before obtaining the stones as kid Link in OOT
Hyrule Historia says he was sent back to a time before he first took the sword. But, when you go meet Zelda, she's still there, meaning Link was sent back to a time before getting the third Spiritual Stone because Ganondorf chases Zelda and Impa right after that. It's a bit confusing, but my guess is he is sent back to a time before their first meeting. Since Link knew about Ganondorfs evil work, he probably saved the Goron and Zora soon after exposing Ganondorfs betrayal. And after that, went to Termina.
What is illogical though is that the platforms in the Goron mines are made of metal. If you want to build an accessible structure inside a volcano, the last material you want to use (okay, after plastic) is metal, because it conducts the heat and your shoes (or skin, in case of the barefoot Gorons) would melt as soon as you stand on it.
The assumptions here are that if Link goes forward he has passed A and if he goes back he is still past A and at B but in a different state, when he is not past A though still in a different state after he has travelled back in time. This can only be plausible if Link in fact goes before A when in the different state as he arrives at the Temple of Time as a child. He's not linearly travelling through reality therefore 'paradoxes' (although actually resolved with sufficient physical understanding) will occur due to a lack of understanding. In fact, Link as a child is still a child at A, when he pulls the master sword out of the pedastal but his state is altered when he arrives again as Child link to return to kakariko village to acquire the lens of truth. Ergo, Link must have taught Guru-Guru the Song of Storms after he learned it from Guru-Guru because none of this applies to anything other than those which are travelling through time through this mechanism thereby solving the so-called paradox. All actions that Link could have done in the past, irrespective of his state at the initial transition, are seen in the future (even if they are dependent on his actions after his initial transition) even though Link may be required to know of the actions beforehand (i.e he retains the state as information isn't destroyed). This should also explain how Adult Link never happened because Ganondorf was sealed before he could steal the triforce after he stole the triforce (which means that no one else but Link actually knew of what had happened - even though it didn't) and therefore this 'split timeline' nonsense is just that.
Technically, its not wrong, TP was originally developed for the GC, which he was left handed, but was mirrored (or flipped) for the release of the wii in 2006
tbh, i dont really like fire/lava dungeons. i rather the forest one :3 this dungeon is good though. they all are, just fire dungeons arent as good in my mind.
***** But wouldn't Link (Goron) be from the Adult timeline, meaning after the events of OoT, that Link was never born or was named another name instead?
Since MM Link still made a huge impression on the Goron, since they're treasuring his old bow, I'm sure that particular Goron is still called Link. But for a different reason likely.
***** Its possible that names, such as Gor Coron, are titles. Since all the elders have the first name Gor, it might mean elder, than the family name is a number. So Gor Coron might mean Forth Elder, since he's the youngest, then Gor Ebizo is First Elder since he's the oldest. Maybe Gor Ebizo is Goron Link
Wow never noticed the bow you get as adult link is called fairies' bow, but the one you get in MM is called heroes bow just as TP, so the hero of time must have returned to hyrule after dealing with majora (so kinda disproves the link is dead theory)
elwey5082 Exactly. This is one of the more obscure references that prove Link returned from Termina :)
WOOOW
Link is dead, just that he didnt died on Termina
I mean I disagree bc adult links time as the hero, canonically, never happened. So therefore he never actually pulled the bow out of the forest temple, so I think it was just moved
I really appreciate the amount of thought you put into the content of your videos, and the many minor details you tie together into a cohesive picture. Keep it up!!
Really love your theories!
ah i was ganna say that dint know that you came here to
I just realized something.. Gorons eat rocks.. so does that mean they literally shit bricks?
oh god. they probably do.
unless their stomachs can digest the rocks (which they probably do since they eat them)
No more like diamonds 💎
Or sand.
You're teaching me to look at Zelda in a way I'd never look!
Vortex has the most amazing soothing voice and her accent is amazing. I love listening to this girl talk about Zelda!
Bonus;
Jump into the lava with the Zora armor on, and watch ALL 20 of your hearts disappear!
Wow! I never really ever gave the Goron mines a second thought, but now I'm taken aback by just how important and interesting they are. From what I've seen, your videos are put together very well, so consider me subscribed! :D

honestly your theories are the best. you're so awesome for putting this much thought and effort into these things :^)
These videos deserve much more views!

Will do :D!

I'll make an outro for the future videos :)
You do very good vidoes vortexx. And your theorys are awesome
I never even considered the Goron Mines could be an expanded Dodongo's Cavern, that's a clever deduction. Oh, and I second the suggestion for outros!
So smart :). I've never been too interested in the goron mines or city, but now I'm intrigued
One thing you missed is that those handprints are found in metal, and so probably not human. I think it's more likely that the Goron elders also act as teachers for young Gorons. The handprints are kind of like the handprints you see hung up in a kindergarten class.
GallantBlade475 are they metal? I thought they were made of clay?

I bet that it says "bathroom"
oh god
"You do not remember me , but in a different timeline I am your sworn brother. Your son will be named after me." - Link must've had a lot of fun messing with people when he got back from Termina.

The Hero's Bow in Twilight Princess is the exact same bow that was found in the Woodfall Temple in Termina.
Will you ever do a theory video of the Lakebed Temple from Twilight Princess?
Sadly she's passed away, so there won't be any more theories from her 💙

nevermind posted before finishing the video
I always thought the boss room is the fire temple.
can you do a video on the sky keep in skyward sword?
I could, but I'm not sure how much I can theorize about it. I can maybe involve it in a triforce theory :) I'll add it to my list for now!
Vortexxy, did MM Link still do the stone things and save the gorons from the dodongos? I'm confused if he was sent back before obtaining the stones as kid Link in OOT

Dragonborn37 Yes, it´s on the to-do list :)
Always wondered about that one! It's so intriguing how it's a big, luxurious residence, but abandoned and in bad condition. Hope you make one, *****!
awesome channel sub!

autricio except Gorons can walk in lava and not be hurt. why would metal melt a Goron's stone feet if lava won't?
True!
you do realize link became a sworn brother as a child right? so when he was sent back by Zelda, he was still a sworn brother
+James Bennett Link was sent back before he first met Zelda, so he had not yet met Darunia at that point.

Wind waker theories next?
I'm definitely going to cover Wind Waker once I release the current theories I'm working in :)

I saw the hidden goron in the begging
The Gorons are Zelda dwarves

Hey huge fan amazing and dedicated detective work but and this might be common knowledge is the hero of time the king of hyrules son
There is a theory about that being the case, but it's not canon as far as we know.
The oldest Goron can be Link. i mean the son of Darunia
All Goron elders are named though, and none are called Link. Likely some are related to Goron Link though :)
***** But wouldn't Link (Goron) be from the Adult timeline, meaning after the events of OoT, that Link was never born or was named another name instead?
