When she said "It looks like a kids toy" my immediate thought was "because it is" because it honestly is. My little bro had one for years that only got thrown out when it got stepped on and cut someone accidentally
My friend was living out of her car struggling 5 years ago. She used her last $30 to buy cleaning supplies from Dollar Tree to start her own house cleaning business with. All her supplies were from the Dollar Tree. She advertised online and put up fliers in the cities with rich people around here. $50 is starting average hourly wage around here for cleaning. So with charging $50 an hour, getting constant extra tips from rich clients, she was able to get her own place, run her own business, now she charges $70+ an hour, and she has plenty of clients that have no issue paying this and tipping well on top of it, she's learned which Dollar Tree cleaning supplies are a great deal and which items you absolutely should buy from somewhere else now that she has the ability to shop at regular stores too now. She was able to use Dollar Tree cleaning supplies to change her entire life. If it weren't for Dollar Tree she wouldn't have been able to afford those cleaning supplies that she needed at the time.
I work in the automotive upholstery business and I ALWAYS use the yellow decreaser to clean vinyl car seats ( not the baby kind ) and it makes them look almost new no matter what stains, grime, oil , dirt or anything is on them. It also takes off stains from cloth interior as well as headliners that are dirty.. its best to use with a white terrycloth rag. DO NOT USE ON LEATHER!!
Gardening tip😰🌵: This might sound weird but I'm a retired landscaper & I use those oven mitts to pick up & transfer barrel & paddle cactus when I'm doing my yearly propagating.
Do you have any small gardening ideas? I've got a really small area out my back door.. I thought about making some planters, of course. I want to plant some tomatoes, herbs, & whatever else is safe and will fit.
The switch nightlights work great in Jack O Lanterns, they're really bright. Also they're goo to use as a prop to teach your pet to flip the switch and turn on the light for a treat.
YASSSS BITCH. SAME. I use it in my laundry alllllll the time. It makes everything smell fucking amazing for ages. Id use it for mopping and stuff to but im a broke bitch and want my clothes and blankets to snell good for ages.
I just had to say- I was in my first apartment, first night. Me and my partner were in a hurry to move, we were both in bad situations. It was exciting and made us feel like we’d finally made it! When dinner time came we realized we didn’t buy oven mitts, and needed them to make our dinner. We ran to the local dollar store bc we were pretty broke and they were close. We grabbed the oven mitts, and came home. I cooked us dinner after a long day of moving and unpacking and used our new oven mitts. They melted to the pan, and set off our fire alarm. We had to open up or apartment front door and all windows and explain our mistake to the neighbors we hadn’t even met yet. I look back at it nostalgic and laugh but it was pretty embarrassing at the time.
The Dollar Tree Oven Mitts are what I use, they’ve always worked for me, also I grew up with my parents using the laundry detergent and it works great!
I’ve got two different oven mitts from dollar tree and I consistently use them to make something that cooks in the oven at 425 degrees. I’ve never had a single problem with the oven mitts. I think one time I could feel some heat, but not to the point where I dropped anything.
I used the light switches in my dark closet and we put them in my daughter's doll house..worked great. You can put them in your purse to find things while traveling not turning on overheads.
That blue Ajax is amazing!! It smells soooo good and cleans everything! I always stock up every time I go. Fabuloso is good too but I got burned out on it. 😅
The orange detergent you showed is the one I use, it cleans great but the scent wears off quickly so dryer sheets are a must if you like your clothes to smell like a garden like I do lol

as a person who was obsessed with dollar tree for my teen years through my adult years here's a tip: -buy the piranha sharpeners (they sharpen shit so fuckin fast) -Dont buy batteries here unless it's a temporary thing. Used them on the fairy lights there, and they lasted like 3 or 4 days -There are cool ball things that you throw on the ground and they glow, they're perfect for parties and light up a lot of the room (only last an hour tho) -THE FOOD THERE IS LEGIT REALLY GOOD. I bought a BBQ sandwich in the freezer and ate it at work, it was great. You can save so much money with that stuff -Dont buy the offbrand chips if you don't want weird aftertaste -Dont buy notebooks/sketchbooks here unless the pages feel smooth. The crisp and super thin paper makes for a harder experience in writing/drawing, and even PENS can soak through the papers. I have so much more but I don't remember it all
So true about the batteries! My family got them for out automatic trash can and it never lasts. I just got this bomb ass perfume though, so it’s def hit and miss
I like the green one personally. I like to use it as a backup but I'm thinking about switching to just using that laundry detergent because I'm trying to save as much money as humanly possible

Yes I highly recommend it especially if your on a really strict tight budget. It’s only me in the house and this detergent will last you and will definitely CLEAN your clothes I was shocked on how decent it is, it’s not good with leaving a scent so if your the type to like scent I recommend buying like a smell good fabric softener or those beads things to put in. Happy savings 💰

I’ve used the detergent & softener. They work just fine for me. If I get a grease stain or any stain on my clothes I’ll spray that Awesome pre-wash spot remover - also at dollar tree. Whatever is in that stuff removes most stains. I’ve used it on my bedding & carpet. I imagine it would work on sofas as well. Awesome products are actually awesome lol
Their laundry soap is fine for grown ups just getting body odor and freshening. But when my boy was little.....I had to use Arm and Hammer for grass and dirt and food stains.
When I lived in my car, I ALWAYS used dollar tree laundry soap!!!! There was a dollar tree right next to the laundromat, too so it was perfect! I didn't notice anything wrong with it. Seems to have worked fine. I don't know how it wouldn't work, y'know? It's soap 🧼
When I used them some of them smelled fine but some of them smelled like cat pee and it wasn’t just one bad batch I opened some in the store to sniff it and they were badddd

love your bougie on a budget videos! another tip for kitchen items: buying plates, cups, bowls, etc. at goodwill! sometimes you can get lucky and find multiples of the same type
@Kaley Hanson well it’s unsanitary to me so, some things are better to buy new than used and those are one of things I feel like should be brought new.
I get all my dinnerware at goodwill! Beautiful and obviously good quality if it lasted through a family before you. I also think about all of the holiday dinners the last fam had on the plate I’m currently using 😊
I keep the wall switch one in each room incase the power goes out. They are great to have on hand. The Awesome cleaner is the BEST!!! Gets grease off everything!!
What all can you clean with fabuloso? I have been tempted to buy, but would like some ideas on what it really does a good job of cleaning. I know the bottle should tell me its applications, but I would like the “oh, you have to try it HERE” kind of info. Thanks to anybody who answers! :)
I have BAD eczema and detergent never really effected me until recently (well not badly at least) and omg I remember my mom bought this one time when I was younger and I had a breakout and had to go to the doctor. I can only use unscented detergent/soap now which is fine but its kinda expensive
It depends on person. I have major sensitive skin yet that detergent doesn’t bother me but things like tide will. It’s all about ingredients and how much of each thing
The Dollar Tree flashlight light switches are great for times when the power goes off. Use a little sticky tak to stick it on the wall. They are great for little kids who need a light switch. I use them when hurricanes (or ice storms) knock the power off for days.
i use the not the actual mitt ones- the square ones as potholders so the bottom of a pot or pan doesnt try to melt thru my vinyl countertop :D never to grab shit though it WILL burn u. just provides a okay buffer between scalding metal and plastic ❤
Honestly I like the dollar tree mittens. There not much use new, but the more you used them the cottons gets thicker and more dense and that’s when it’s actually protective.
That wall switch one I took with me when I went away and stayed in a cabin in Costa Rica. I use it to light up the bathroom real quick to pee and check if any bugs were around. Besides a flashlight, they are useful. 🤣
Girl, I had a whole crab in my cabin there one night! I was so jetlagged by then, I just wanted to sleep but I could hear it scuttling around all night ms I swear it tried to get in bed with me. Had a great view of the ocean tho 😂 🦀 🦀 🦀
I use the light switch as an occupational therapy toy for my baby girl. It’s very useful for that. Helps strengthen her hand muscles and encourage the use of her finger tips.
I buy the gloves because they fit better where I hang them. We don't have a problem with the heat but they fall apart after a couple months. I just replace them with ones for whatever the next holiday is.
The detergent works perfectly fine. The purple bottle actually smells good. The solid color oven mitts have not failed me. The light switches are good for someone like me who has no light in the pantry.
They work to clean but they don't sanitize anything. It's great for breaking stuck debris down, which is what degreasers do. So to anyone reading this, definitely don't use in your bathroom or any other germ-prone areas unless it specifically states ON the bottle that it sanitizes or disinfects!
I have always hated the smell of fabuloso. Until I found the Apple cider vinegar one at Dollar Tree. Or the citrus antibacterial one. They are amazing in the o cedar spin mop ❤
I will use the LA’s totally awesome detergent but only the BLUE ONE- I will also add that their version of oxyclean in the orange bucket is actually a really good dupe and will CLEAN your clothes.
We use their laundry soap alot especially when funds are low I wash always in cold water except for whites or extra dirty things I have learned if you grab a bottle of the small name brand laundry soap like Gain, Tide ,etc.add it to your laundry detergent so you spent 2.50 and it works great and you get the awesome scents they also sell underclothes wash like hose, underwear ,bras, lingeries for cold water washes works great as well &c😮an also be mixed with your laundry products either way it's still cheaper and works even better when you need to stretch your money same thing I do with my fabric softener and scent beads
I bought a pair and the heat comes through when I take stuff out of the oven. I use them for decoration or for on the counter to keep warm stuff from direct contact
I literally had one melt on me when I was using it! Burned a hole in the printed side, so now I make sure to use the blank side on hot surface (sliding oven rack in and out). 🤷🏼♀️
We used fabulouso at the dog daycare I used to work at. It could make a room smell fresh and clean after a dog mess was cleaned up and it won my loyalty from then on. It worked magic on some of the foul odors that I'd encounter during my time there that no other cleaner could come close to covering up.
Next time you go you should check out these weird pencil holders. They look like rectangles. Actually works really well the store makeup brushes and such in a smaller space.
Glad my dollar tree has glassware now. The main thing I buy from there are these short glass containers with white plastic lids... Perfect for when I make a chocolate mousse and just need a little cover for it but I don't wanna spoon it out of a jar with a neck... And glass soda bottles as well! They've got like 16oz cream sodas at mine that are made with honey... they're Delicious. I drink them when I eat something real spicy.
Ok the light switch is brilliant. It can hang on the wall with an screw but I like it on a table going into a room or the night table for at night because it gives just enough light to find glasses, phone, glass of water
I've always used dollar tree oven cleaner. It works better than the name brand one and yes Awesome gets everything clean😊. Aerosol glass cleaner as well.
Beware when using those blank coffee cups in the dishwasher. The cups will leak from the bottom. The lids warp & won't fit anymore. Some of the lids leak when turned a certain way. That's just a factory flaw though. If you hand wash them with warm water you'll be fine.
As someone who had to go months without electric; the light switch battery operated nightlight from dollar tree really saved me lmao. Don’t knock it. The light was literally so bright on it and the batteries lasted for six months. It may look like a toy but that jawn is the most powerful thing in the dollar store 😭
I live in an area with a large Hispanic population. Fabulous is the smell of a clean house around here. Lavender seems to be the preferred. I grew up with Ajax products but I have to admit I like the lavender scent.
I’m a citrus fabuloso girlie. It’s my absolute fave and now I can’t stand my pine sol anymore. I like the lavender for floor cleaning for some reason 😂
Yes ma’am apple fabuloso for the win and girrrrlll I went to find below for the first time today and got that adorable pink succulent pillow and the tubbaware kit love it so much
Skip the plastic cups, depending on the dishwasher some of them melt in there (side eye to the kids plastic cups).... But the glassware and the mugs definitely worth it!!!
I actually use those little light switch wall light in my cabinets. Makes it a lot easier to find my stuff because my cabinets are big and dark. They do look cheap but they are hidden and work as intended.
I love love love love the Lavender scent Fabulouso, it definitely works great with a pinch of bleach mixed in to make a bucket of cleaning water to mop the floors leaves the house smelling wonderful and if you want your house to smell fukkin amazing then use some Fabulouso in a pot on your stove and add a tad of water and heat it up on low heat and just let it go until it all evaporates from pot...it leaves your house smelling so so so so GOOD AND ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I get so many compliments when people come over about the smell and then I'll tell them what I just told yall👍
AND...The scent beads from DT are the truth! Great size bottle for the price (when they're not sold out!) The laundry detergent and liquid fabric softener also work well for the price. They also make great gifts for the kiddos when they move out! It teaches them that it doesn't take a paycheck to keep your house and laundry clean and smelling Good!
the light switch night light i used with anxiety, when i woke up in the middle of the night and it was either too dark or i just was overwhelmed. i lost it to my two year old niece a couple months ago
My mom used to use "Awesome" to clean everything but whenever we did we would have to leave a door or a window open b/c we would get light headed from the fumes and we did this my entire life, I wasn't until like a month ago my sister and I found out it is supposed to be HEAVILY diluted 💀💀💀

The Awesome cleaner is the BEST!!! Gets grease off everything!!
Say what you like, that light switch one is bright... at least the ones here in the UK. It's fine for a cupboard or small shed.
Fun fact we used to clean houses on a huge army base down south and we used 90% of those very cleaning items from DT! They work!
Fabuloso is great as a Swiffer wet jet refill. If you carefully get the lid off the cleaning solution then you can refill it.
What all can you clean with fabuloso? I have been tempted to buy, but would like some ideas on what it really does a good job of cleaning. I know the bottle should tell me its applications, but I would like the “oh, you have to try it HERE” kind of info. Thanks to anybody who answers! :)
Do NOT use the detergent if you have sensitive skin!
@@ThatOneFur That's wild because Tide is the only detergent besides sheet detergent that doesn't irritate my skin.
@@ThatOneFur Same. I’m highly allergic to tide. But that detergent doesn’t bother my skin at all.
@@bambi879 yes they bank on us hard
ive used the laundry detergent in a pinch, it’s not my favorite, but it definitely works when you have a tight budget!
Dollar tree laundry stuff is pretty good, I use it myself and I would recommend it, works good💯
Lavender Fabuloso or the orangey smelling one!!
The Dollar Tree flashlight light switches are great for times when the power goes off. Use a little sticky tak to stick it on the wall.
They are great for little kids who need a light switch.
I use them when hurricanes (or ice storms) knock the power off for days.
I love those oven mitts the plain ones I had my four yrs and it was durable
I can't explain how much I love that awesome cleaner spray. It cleans everything so good
I bought that and thought I was going to die... it's arsenic in a bottle😢
@@cecegiles7753Whaaat? Really? I love that stuff. Smells like lemons to me lol
i use the not the actual mitt ones- the square ones as potholders so the bottom of a pot or pan doesnt try to melt thru my vinyl countertop :D never to grab shit though it WILL burn u. just provides a okay buffer between scalding metal and plastic ❤
The wall switch works surprisingly well, I have one in my closet. Works for what I need it for.
Great idea! Sold🙌🏽
Girl, I had a whole crab in my cabin there one night! I was so jetlagged by then, I just wanted to sleep but I could hear it scuttling around all night ms I swear it tried to get in bed with me. Had a great view of the ocean tho 😂 🦀 🦀 🦀
@@tmgha6876 lmao oh wow. Too funny. I believe it too. I stayed in a cabin with no electricity. Had to watch out for scorpions 🦂😫😫
@@JayJackson007 😁
@@tmgha6876 Oh gees, ya'll are scaring me.
I have thise potholder oven mitts and i have NO PROBLEM with them.
Ive taken pans that were under the broiler out and not burn thru.
The wall switch lights are great for camping with kids.
I use the light switch as an occupational therapy toy for my baby girl. It’s very useful for that. Helps strengthen her hand muscles and encourage the use of her finger tips.
The detergent and fabric softner works great. I use it
I had those chef ones 15 years ago!! Hahaha can’t believe they are still selling that same design!!
Actually the pot holders hold up really well it's just the glove that it burns through
Exactly!!!
I buy the gloves because they fit better where I hang them. We don't have a problem with the heat but they fall apart after a couple months. I just replace them with ones for whatever the next holiday is.
Nope, I had a regular pot holder melt on the printed side when I was sliding an oven rack back in!
The green Ajax with baking soda and lime smells so damn good! It’s the best one .
The detergent works perfectly fine. The purple bottle actually smells good.
The solid color oven mitts have not failed me.
The light switches are good for someone like me who has no light in the pantry.
same. Same. Same.
I use the detergent for my animals blankets and it works great!
I bought a solid colored oven mitt and it definitely failed me, it was on life support after 2 months
Yes the printed ones the ink transferred and stained something in my moms kitchen
They work to clean but they don't sanitize anything. It's great for breaking stuck debris down, which is what degreasers do. So to anyone reading this, definitely don't use in your bathroom or any other germ-prone areas unless it specifically states ON the bottle that it sanitizes or disinfects!
Those mitts are cute and so are the nightlights
The wall switches are great to carry a ou d for power outages
I have always hated the smell of fabuloso. Until I found the Apple cider vinegar one at Dollar Tree. Or the citrus antibacterial one. They are amazing in the o cedar spin mop ❤
Fabuloso best scent is the purple one by far
I recently bought the laundry detergent, laundry pre-wash and scent boosters. My laundry was clean and smelled fresh. I have zero complaints.
I used to do house keeping and fabulous all the way. It smells fresher and works better.
Ajax citrus & eucalyptus is my fav. I will literally buy like six bottles every time I go bc I refuse to run out.
Mine too!
Ditto 😊🧡💛💚
YES!!!! It smells amazing
The oven mits are good up to 350°. It says so on the tag. I use them.
My mom used Awesome all the the time when we would clean the house. I believe it's also safe for outdoor use as it doesn't kill plants.
I ran a load with the blue laundry detergent when on a budget gets the job done they even used to have scent beads as well
She's trippin! Those oven mitts work just fine. I've had mine from Dollar Tree for almost 3 years and I love them!
They work fine for me too.
They work great for me too. I love them!
I said the same thing ❤
the light switch one is totally a kids toy hahaha. in my experience, toddlers LOVE those!
We used fabulouso at the dog daycare I used to work at. It could make a room smell fresh and clean after a dog mess was cleaned up and it won my loyalty from then on. It worked magic on some of the foul odors that I'd encounter during my time there that no other cleaner could come close to covering up.
They have specially for pets too
I've used the oven mits a couple times lol they def have a certain number of times they can be used before they are done.
I used to use that detergent in my first apartment. Just used a little more than suggested.
Never ran a load with those soaps but i can say they work well enough if you're hand washing items
The laundry soap is great. I have need using it twenty years
Ok the light switch is brilliant. It can hang on the wall with an screw but I like it on a table going into a room or the night table for at night because it gives just enough light to find glasses, phone, glass of water
I use to use the laundry detergent all the time. It not the best. But it works great when you’re broke.
I've always used dollar tree oven cleaner. It works better than the name brand one and yes Awesome gets everything clean😊. Aerosol glass cleaner as well.
You should give us a home tour featuring some of the stuff you've gotten from dollar tree / five below!!
the oven mits work for me lol i love them
Beware when using those blank coffee cups in the dishwasher. The cups will leak from the bottom. The lids warp & won't fit anymore. Some of the lids leak when turned a certain way. That's just a factory flaw though. If you hand wash them with warm water you'll be fine.
Thanx 4 the tip
Yes ma’am apple fabuloso for the win and girrrrlll I went to find below for the first time today and got that adorable pink succulent pillow and the tubbaware kit love it so much
I love the apple scented fabuloso too 😂💚
Fabulouso girl here! When I clean with it, I call that the spirit taking hold of me 😂
It was recalled due to harmful biological contamination.
I love your vibe ! You made me laugh 😅
Fabuloso 🎉
🤢🤢🤢
I think it was recalled recently. Not sure which ones
@@RAE.ofSunshine purple and blue I think
My son uses the light switch light in his lower level bunk bed as a reading light. It’s perfect.
Yes the dilute chart is on the bottle.
I guess you are above reading the label? It's okay to use that god-given organ between your ears.
Me too I almost passed out. Somebody told me you had to diluted it with water.I get 3 bottles out of it.I just save my old spray bottles.
