So Fine!! Jimi has to be smiling, knowing that so many people have been so moved by his Spirit as your playing obviously shows!! He would have loved to jam with you I bet. Blessings
Bravo, nailed it!!!! Could clean up the transition a little. Amazing sound to my ears. It made the chill bumps from your multiple spots of mystery. Thank you for this experience and I hope you continue to grow.
Ionel Tudor Thank you so much! My violin is an Epoch which is an Australian company. This particular one is made from carbon fiber which makes it really durable and loud, so it's a great instrument for touring and playing in live bands! I'm also using a Boss ME-70 multi effects unit in this video with some nice reverb and EQ set up. Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Hi Rachel, Would you happen to have your music written down to be able to share or purchase. My sister and I are 13 and we have figured out how to play the first part of your version, but can't seem to figure out the rest. Thank you, Gianna and Araya
brenda d Hey Giana and Araya, that's so cool that you're learning this song! Unfortunately I don't have it written out. The first part I learnt by ear the same as you and the second half of the solo (from about 3:30) is improvised. Why don't you have a try at some improvisation yourselves?? Play what you feel and what sound good to you. It's lots of fun! Best of luck with it, would love to hear what you come up with :) Cheers Rachel
Hi Rachel, thank you so much for getting back to us. Is there any way you could write down what notes you are playing from 2:05 to 2:12, where it goes into 3rd position? Thanks, Araya and Gianna
@@brend7777 Well I’m 4 years late but the chords are Em, G, Am, Em, Bm, Bbm (sounds a bit jazzy if you have the passing chord), Am, G, F, C, D then repeat. You can get away with a lot of the Em pentatonic.

I am so glad someone sent me your rendition of the last post you make me want to learn the Violin ...wow
