Yes, but only in a Duo/Solo setting (Vape, paired with XQ), team without C6 Bennett or without Bennett. This is to allow Diluc to use 2x full Combo String within 1 Duration of XQ burst & Diluc's Pyro infusiom Buff without wasting Duration of team buffs. Otherwise using Burst last is always recommended, regardless of which team variant Diluc is in.
The fact Diluc is among the weakest in solo / unbuffed setting is what make His Solo runs more impressive than Speedrun IMHO. Speedrun is cool and all but in the end its just matter of "How better is your team conpared to Others?" Considering how Weak Diluc is on his own. Awesome run!
@@kross4237 He can be situationally better whenever Keqing can’t spam CAs (knockback on small enemies or extra stamina needed for dodging), but other than that she just has higher solo output. Test them both on cryo regisvine and it’s pretty easy to see the difference. Additionally, Keqing doesn’t lose as much DPS as Diluc does during burst “downtime” since she doesn’t depend on it for her infusion, and also gets it back easier anyways due to higher rate of particle generation + her A4 passive.

i always thought diluc personal dps is at least on par to keqing, which has slightly above average solo dps.
