I have a theory that Jason must be more experienced in the criminal underworld and has learnt not to trust anyone, maybe during a mission Lucia saves Jason and he gains trust for her. Lucia, seeing this begins to slowly manipulate Jason into being her lackey in most of the crimes and because he has a better understanding in this line of work (I’ve speculated this based on Jason’s eye movement when they rob the convenience store). Over the course of the story Lucia’s manipulation begins to show as she asks Jason to go into more dangerous situations and a conflict arises between the two. Jason and Lucia separate for a brief time and Jason tries to get out of the criminal life, but then an acquaintance of both Jason and Lucia tells Jason that Lucia is in trouble, he goes to help her since his feeling for her have not vanished and in the process gains Lucia’s trust and form and equal partnership to reach the top of vice city’s underground life.
the first mission of gta 6 (i believe) was the leaked footage of that waffle house or resturaunt. if you look at the bottom left corner there was tasks on what to do on the mission. i recorded and privated the video before it got taken down. so the mission is basically this: lucia is released from prision (or jason breaks her out) they are in need of money, they rob the waffle house for some cash in vice city, and they lay low in port gellhorn. (the hotel they stay at was in the trailer and in the leaked gameplay.)
i dont think Jason is a undercover cop. I believe he would be a ex-cop or potentially ex-dea officer. This would connect to the drug trade or at least i think so but ay thats just me.
Well they said that Bonnie and Clyde met through a friend .. and Clyde was in jail and Bonnie used to visit him.. so I think GTA 6 will have a twist where instead of Clyde being in jail is going to be Lucia and you start the game off with Jason. And my theory of one of the endings the bad ending they get killed by the police just like just like Bonnie and Clyde that's my bad ending
One thing that kinda concerns me is that Jason and Lucia have definitely been an inspiration from Place Beyond the Pines... and I hope it's only the characters/their names that they took. Cos that movie was awful. Such a random film for GTA writers to be inspired to develop their protagonists. I'm confident that GTA6 will be way better but it's still a concern I'm gonna have until the next trailers clear this up.
I just don't want them to be petty criminals through out the entire story, I want them to be dragged deeper into the criminal underworld and the drug game having them both question their morals, relationship and actions like vice city stories, I know there probably won't be an criminal empire plot cause it just seems at the moment they are bonnie and Clyde.
My Theory is that based on the Colors of their Bandanas which match the Colors of Arthur and Dutches Bandanas it might go down a story kinda like that where Lucia betrays Jason.
I think it would be cool if Jason was undercover… which then maybe wil give the player a choice in the end to choose a life in crime or a life in law and order. This then wil satisfy both parties of the playerbase.
