Thank you, Glimmer for sharing all this stuff! Your book & record collection is so fantastic, and BTB is such a beautifully unique album. Always loved the contrast between its colorfully descriptive lyrics charged with so much tragic irony at times, but sang in a rather sweet and mellow voice. All wrapped up in Keith’s increasingly complex pre-open tuning guitars and that burlesque fairground attraction band that gave it such a twist. SHTMY, for example is brilliant. Miss Amanda Jones could have been one of those oldie ones to get blown out into a fast live rocker later on in ‘81.. Impeccable.

Hello AL, thanks again. I'm glad you like the content I'm uploading, which is not the usual Stones. BTB is a great album, completely exquisite from start to finish. Unfortunately the Stones did not use more songs from that album to play live and I suppose that "Miss Amanda Jones" would have exploded on tour 81.

    Hola, gemelo.
De ese disco me fascina en especial Back street girl. Tanto en la fina ironía de la letra como en los arreglos me parece una monumental demostración de cómo la música popular puede llegar a ser sublime.
Sería para mí un placer que la comentaras.
