the recitative sung by the tenor is so lyrical and rhythmically moving that it could pass for an "aria" in it´s own right.
Bach the only composer that can do this. Well maybe sometimes Rameau too.
The trick is Bach doesn't write ''musically'? He has leaps of sevenths up and down etc to stress the feeling. He has logic but not formulas

I love the chorus around 6:10. I find it so full of life and energy in a way Bach rarely seems to reveal. It's as if he's stressed and in a hurry.

Ein ungefärbt Gemüte
von deutscher Treu und Güte
macht uns vor Gott und Menschen schön.
Der Christen Tun und Handel,
ihr ganzer Lebenswandel
soll auf dergleichen Fuße stehn.
An untainted character
of frank devotion and goodness
makes us appealing before God and humanity.
A Christian’s actions and dealings,
their entire way of life,
should stand on such footing as this.
2. REZITATIV (Tenor)
Die Redlichkeit ist eine von den Gottesgaben.
Daß sie bei unsrer Zeit so wenig Menschen haben,
das macht, sie bitten Gott nicht drum.
Denn von Natur geht unsers Herzens Dichten
mit lauter Bösem um;
soll's seinen Weg auf etwas Gutes richten,
so muß es Gott durch seinen Geist regieren
und auf der Bahn der Tugend führen.
Verlangst du Gott zum Freunde,
so mache dir den Nächsten nicht zum Feinde
durch Falschheit, Trug und List!
Ein Christ soll sich der Taubenart bestreben
und ohne Falsch und Tücke leben.
Mach aus dir selbst ein solches Bild,
wie du den Nächsten haben willt!
Integrity is one of the gifts from God.
That so few humans in our time possess it
is caused due to them not requesting it of God.
For by nature the dictates of our heart
circumvent it out of sheer malevolence;
if their path somehow veers toward something
good it must have been led by God through his Spirit
and steered upon a course of virtue.
If you desire God as friend
then do not make enemy of your neighbor
through falsehood, deception or deceit!
A Christian should strive to be like a dove
and live without falsity or malice.
Make of yourself such an image
as you would desire in your neighbor!

Verleumden, Schmähn und Richten,
Verdammen und Vernichten

Empfänglichkeit für Eindrücke , die das Gefühl anspreche ...
Wieder eine maßtabsetzende Einspielung, vielen Dank! Auf welchem Instrument spielt der Trompeter seine Stimme? Es wurde ja in der Forschung viel diskutiert, dass die Noten eigentlich nur auf einem F-Corno (wie im Schlusschoral ja verwendet und in der Einspielung von Harnoncourt) gespielt werden können, da auf der gängigen Naturtrompete die meisten Töne nicht gehen. Aber hier klingt alles perfekt. Ist es eine hoch-F Clarintrompete wie im 2. Brandenb. Konzert? Hört sich aber nicht danach an und sieht zu groß aus. Wer kann mir hier weiterhelfen?

It astonishes me that the makers of Grammarly think they have a snowball's in a place much warmer than this of selling even one copy of their product by repeatedly interrupting a performance of this kind with the same inane advertisement, which has already been blasted at many of us times out of number.
Further, I have news for them. I suspect that most of the people who enjoy Bach cantatas, "if they write anything on their computers" actually do NOT NEED to get their product. Our command of the English language is actually quite sufficient. Asserting that we do need the help of a computer algorithm is merely insulting.
