Hearing this song during that episode made me feel like I was watching Doctor Who the end of time all over again. But instead of feeling sad to say farewell to David Tennant, we were feeling closure for molder who was freed.

exactly...had the same experience. Everything is music and oneness.
This is perfectly suited for the revelation of the Mulder/Samantha saga. An absolutely soul lifting piece. Both beautifully simple and yet, cleverly complex. Beautiful.
The episode of the X-Files where Mulder is finally made aware what happened to his sister was both sad and heart warming.... this was the perfect song for that moment too... I am tearing up just thinking about it....
Each time I listen trhis music, it remembered me CLosure and all dead persons in my family :'(

This has to be one of the best tracks ever created by any one.
This feels so transcendental. I understand why they chose this for The X-Files. I feel like I'm being given a tour of heaven and another chance to speak with my dead relatives. This is music that touches your soul. I'm not the same after hearing this.

X-files, so sad but such a great episode.
I would like to think that at the moment of my death, I will hear beautiful music like this and be able to wander freely through the stars and galaxies to bear witness to some of the awesome creations that the universe has to offer that we only dream about. Is that weird?

When I saw the X-Files episode where Mulder finally learns his sisters fate and this song played..... I cried.....
When you see how big the universe is, you realize how small we are, how even smaller our problems are

This was on the closure episode of xfiles. Fell in love with this song when I saw it. Such a beautiful scene of the show when he crosses into the starlight. If you hvnt seen it you should. Its very beautiful

I think she known that she never have a normal life again.
But she had faith in Mulder, that one day he will find her diary, read it, and understood why she left him.

When I was a senior in high school we lost two classmates in a car accident. It was the first time I and many of my friends experienced a loss. I remember us playing this song on repeat as we drove around trying to process our emotions. To this day when I listen to this I think about that time in our young lives and how we all took solace in this beautiful song.

Here in the U.K. we associate this music with the final episode of "Peak Practice" in 2002, a low key drama about a GP surgery in the Peak District of Derbyshire. This episode was a literal "cliffhanger", and ended with a psychotic nurse obsessed with a doctor wrestling them both to their deaths over the edge of a cliff. It was such a surprising and abrupt way to end a series which had been going for over eight years.
So it was technically a...Clifftumbler?

When I think of this song I picture my brother. I did not get to see him on this side due to miscarriage.
When life gets hard here, I think of how it might be when I see him in the Kingdom.
He will be one of the first people I meet when I get to heaven. He will be a few years older than me. I will run to him, hug him tight and he will say, I've been waiting for you.
Then I will turn to Jesus, and we won’t say anything. But he’ll just look at me the way he does when he’s staring into your soul, and I will know.
This is a moment he’s been waiting for since before I was born. I will be too grateful, too happy, to speak. But he will know my heart. And we'll all be overcome by joy.
That will be the first of many things I will do in the Restoration.
