Hi Calvin and Marie. My husband and I turned one of our bedrooms into a pantry. We have 3 years of supplies on hand. (Which I rotate often). It's money in the bank as groceries keep going up in price. I buy only on sale and then stock up. My husband and I also grow a garden and can a lot every year. Plus we eat lots of fresh vegetables from it. We have 4 big upright freezers. They all serve their purpose. One for my baked goods, breads, cakes, pies, cookies, chocolate chips, nuts, etc. Another for meat, chicken, beef, pork, fish, breakfast sausage, ring sausage etc. Another freezer for all my frozen vegetables of all kinds. enough for a year. And the last freezer is for convenient foods. Pizza, homemade pot pies, homemade egg noodles. Frozen prepared meals. It's all organized and rotated often. Some people might not agree with us, but we want for nothing. It's here and we are ahead by buying on sale. It must be our generation that we think alike.
We have 2older sons. When they visit, I tell them to take what they need. I watch sales forcthe extra large size toilet paper and paper towels as that always seems ro be whatcthey take. Prepping is good for sons orcothercfsmily members that needcaxhelping hand.
That`s a nice lot to add to your pantry! One good tip I used to use when I was beginning years ago...when you use 1 can..buy back 2...don`t just replace the one ya used. You will find your supply will increase very quickly! You can do this on just about any foods that are not pricey (basic items). Just keep on going & you will soon be all set for whatever! Hugs & have a blessed weekend!!
Thank you for the tip, IWILL start doing that, I started with my stockpiling when, All the bad things started happening you just never no what tomorrow will bring ❤
I literally told my daughter this. She was constantly making trips to the supermarket to get what she needed for specific meals. She finally realized how easy it is to build up her pantry!
I hope when im older and need a little help that my husband is as sweet and patient as you are with your wife. ♥️ You both are very respectful of each other
my mom taught me this, i lost her this year in january (2024) she was 58, she always taught me to always stock up on the type of canned goods that i would eat, so i would (im doing it in a slow process right now) of stocking up on pasta, potatoes, canned diced tomatoes with jalapenos, shells and cheese, hominy, refried beans, creamed corn. she said to me you never know when a power outage will hit or if a store closes down and you cant get anything from the store, she also taught me to store bread in the freezer and to put veggies in a freezer storage bag to just stock up on it so that i would have something to eat (i know thats dealing with the freezer and electricity but thats just another thing she taught me) ill forever miss her. im even slowly stocking up on spaghetti sauce too cause i can live off of spaghetti. many blessings and love to you guys. inflation is just horrible especially to people on limited income (im disabled) but we somehow always manage to pull through.
I’ve been watching this channel for two days now and I just love how both are so obedient and submissive caring loving kind soft spoken they are within each other not only are they teaching prepping but how to be as a couple ❤

We shop at Wal-Mart grocery too! My husband always go with me to help. It's 98 degrees today here in NC! ...but I still love summer! Wishing you and Marie a blessed week!....Melissa💙💛
Great haul. Nice to be stocked up. Marie, take care, bronchitis is a tough thing. Calvin, you have to need a nice long nap after all that loading the cart, unloading to check out, loading bags in cart, carrying in the house and then putting on the counter to show us...then putting in pantry. Whew, I'm tired thinking about it all. Bless you both. ❤
You two are such a sweet couple! Please keep doing these videos, because especially young people need this knowledge and inspiration. My daughter is a newer teacher in Oklahoma and is barely making it. I am still trying to show her how important stocking up is. She is not quite there yet, but I will keep trying. You too are a breath of fresh air!! Take care.
I love to watch folks buy groceries and prep. I get a lot of good ideas. I wasn't going to plant anything this year. But I love to grow and I love grounding and the fresh air. But I am watering every other day to keep the plants healthy. I planted 4 various tomatoes, and three green pepper plants. That is plenty for me. My grass looks like straw and we need rain. Happy to see you both again and glad you are feeling better Marie. Take care, get plenty of rest because heat seems to make me tired. God bless. Great video.
Great prepping haul, Mr. Calvin and Mrs. Marie. A brilliant thing to do. COVID-19 should have been a lesson for all of us, we never know what the future holds. God bless you both, always!

Good Morning Marie & Calvin,I got here as soon as I was able.I am stocking up on canned goods this next week also.Living in south Texas I am concerned about the hurricane.Have a great week end & take care Marie & Calvin!❤
Good morning Linda. We were just talking about the hurricane coming towards Texas. We're praying that it is nothing more than rain because everyone needs some rain.
Amazing prices in the USA! Not here in Canada...it is crazy high for canned goods. Almost 3.00 for a can of soup so you did great! It is a good idea what you're doing for prepping. Yes, frozen is good but if there is no electricity then at least you have food. Praying that Marie will get her strength back with the heat and all, it's tough. Be safe and God bless you both and America, my good neighbors! P.S- I made your White Poke July 4th Independence Day CAKE today. Wish I could send you a pic! My grandchildren are coming tomorrow for lunch and a swim. Instead of those hard candy decorations, I just made an American flag with sprinkles, red, left the middle as it's already white and blue sprinkles and it looks amazing! Cant wait to try it! Big hugs!
Hello, there, Calvin and Marie that was a wonderful video.Thank you so much for sharing.I like the way you put it when you was talking about the canned vegetables.I've always used my share of them
I always enjoy your prepping hauls. I really like it when you shop at Walmart. The temperature here in Washington state is 99 degrees. Starting tomorrow & for the next 10 days our forecast is days with temperatures of over 100, Monday is forecasted to be 108. We did Walmart grocery pickup at 8 this morning.
99 degrees at 5:00 pm today. I have been doing some prepping too and it is very hard being a senior and just making ends meet. It being so hot, our power bills are going to be awful. If I get down to 1 can, I buy another can to add to my pantry. I have been trying to do better with my shopping. I went to the farmer's market to get some tomotoes and they are really good. It is so hot and you just can not beat a tomato sandwich. I love to take a tomato, onion, and cucumber and put either italian dressing or just vinegar, it is really good. Yall have a great weekend, be looking forward to Sunday chat.
Calvin and Marie, just a tip about the flour you want to store. Put the bags in the freezer for about one week to kill any bug eggs in the flour. The freezing will kill anything in the flour so it will not hatch before you use it. We do this here in the midwest and it works. Hope you can use this tip. Thanks for the video.
👋 kids, I sooooo agree to prepare. I've been at it for prox 30 years. With lots of farms going fallow, lack of water retention, heat, and soaring prices, it's just nutso crazy to not stock up. In Tennessee, sales tax is added, nearly 10% BUT August, September , October, NO sales tax. So guess who is going to hit it hard. ME! Tennessee legislation is hoping to do away with the sales tax on food. Hope so. Marie, you'd think the heat would burn the bug out of you ! Great job guys. 🤗 🤗
Calvin and Marie, you all are doing an excellent job of prepping your pantry. Now a days we all should be doing that. I hope you all are having a nice evening.❤
That is a lot of food for under $100.00. And sharp eye Marie caught that dented cake mix box before Calvin had a chance to drop it in the cart! You both did a great job!
The weather her in S//Fl has been been just about the same . Hate to think what the electric bill will be this month. You two take it easy. Thanks for the the update on your health. Great haul! Joan
Calvin, I have COPD so I struggle with being out of breath quite often. Between my breathing and my aching knees and legs, I don't go inside a grocery store very much. I have a Walmart+ membership and get groceries delivered to the house. I know a lot of people like to pick out their own food but Walmart saves me a lot of money and a lot of hassle. I have a rollator that I use. I have found that if I put a plastic bin on the rollator (or my husband's wheelchair), I can roll my supplies to where they need to go. That also makes it easier on me. When I do have to breakdown and go to the grocery store, I make sure I park right beside the buggy return. That's all I have to say, sorry for rambling. Just thought you might want to try the rollator trick. Have a great weekend.❤
You can put your flour and cornmeal in the freezer to keep it longer. If you don’t have room in your freezer for flour, make sure that you put it in there for at least three days to make sure that it kills any pests that live in flour. You can divide it up into Mason jars and keep it in mason jars with an oxygen absorber on your shelf or you can keep the mason jars in the freezer.
.96 cents for a great value can of green beans? wow that's crazy. I think it was .62 cents just 2 years ago! Yes, store food for several months if not a a year or more and please pray for America. God bless. 🙏
Don’t just get food to store for a year. That is how you waste money on food that is stored and expires. Just buy more of what you will regularly use and eat and when you replace what you use each week or month, put the newer ones in the back of shelf and always use the ones with closest best buy dates first.
@@lf4061 Im sure they do that already, but it always pays to be pre paired, as everyone should, may I ask what is so wrong with that. its everything they DO use up! And they haven't wasted any money as they use it up, tell me how that is wasting money please? You go by the date on the product use that first off you don't waste any food at all. It's just something everyone would (at least I think, would already know).
Hi Marie and Calvin. So glad you’re feeling better Marie. We are going to hit 100 today with a heat index of up to 108 it is hot. So grateful and thankful for air conditioning you guys take care and you’re right Calvin we may see some shortages on the shelf, even in the pet stores right now we are seeing holes on every shelf. Talking to the manager he said they just can’t get the stuff in.God bless you both
❤Y’all did a great job prepping on this video! It is a very smart thing to do. Young people many times don’t think traumatic times will come but we older folks know it can and likely will even in our lifetime. This always reminds me of Joseph’s interpretation of Pharoah’s dream. 7 years of prosperity would be followed by 7 years of famine. I am praying for both of you to gain strength and receive complete physical healing. Bronchitis and shortness of breath is really hard to deal with. Even on 3 liters of oxygen I struggle to breathe if walking any distance at all. It could be worse, and it is for many. God bless you both. Love you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
We are 65 and living on S.S. we are going to food pantries at local churches. THEY are so kind and we get nice food. We call it blessing boxes. E.We pray over 🙏 it and thank the good Lord. ✝️. We also share with others. Go get a blessing box.
You can make great chocolate muffins using only a devil's food cake mix and one can of pumpkin (not the pie filling - the regular canned pumpkin.) Just two ingredients! Mix well and bake in muffin tins at 350 until done (a toothpick comes out clean.) These also freeze very well. I keep all flour and cake mixes in the freezer so they don't get weevils - and they'll keep a long time that way.
One box of brownie mix and 1 can of pumpkin (not pie mix), mix together, bake 350 in a 9 x 13 pan for 23-26 mins or so. Amazing! No oil, no eggs needed. Very rich and soft. Cut and wrap squares in wax paper, store in fridge.
You are so right Marie, my husband and I are on a set income so if we had not been preppers for a long time we would be in trouble for food. The prices just keep climbing.
Marie, you are so wise to look ahead and anticipate the shortages and price increases. If neither one happens, you'll be just as glad to have that extra food on the shelves, but if you had not heeded that wisdom from the Lord and either situation occurred, you would be wishing you acted on that intuition. Keep on prepping! You're doing well. : )
I just caught your channel on RUclips and subscribed. Your visit to Walmart on a $200.00 budget is very useful. It just goes to show you that you can afford to have plenty of groceries on a budget. Alabama
Love these Food Prepping Hauls. Maybe if you are going to do more of these, you can set up a playlist. You have a "prepping" playlist, but that covers a different type of prepping..or add your food hauls into this playlist too.
Hello. I am a new subscriber from middle Georgia. So happy to have found your channel. We are having a terrible time trying to keep our garden going. Not near the harvest we had last year, but we are grateful for all God has blessed us with!
Just a recommendation. Check the cans for dents and sell by dates. Speaking from experience. Also, the vinegar if making pickles, watch it is 5% acidity.
Hi Marie and Calvin I have started prepping I live in Australia and prices have gone up so much here as well, I have around 12 months worth of food in my pantry and I seal all flour, sugar as it's hot and humid here in summer. God bless Leanne 🎉
I live in southern Louisiana. I can relate to the heat. A couple of days we had 114 heat index. I couldn’t even cool my house. Y’all are so sweet. First time watching yall.
One thing I like to do, and you might find it useful, is to get some of the empty or nearly empty boxes as I collect what I'm buying. Each box holds 12, and it makes it a bit easier to transfer to the conveyor belt to check out. The boxes are definitely easier to carry than loose cans in flimsy bags, and they stack neatly in your food storage pantry. Wal-Mart is only going to throw them away, so they don't care.
Hi Calvin and Marie I’m 84 and live alone. I have a very well stocked pantry. I just recently started to stock shelf milk. I got a recommendation about the milk which was a very good one. It is very good for baking, cooking and drinking. Nice cold very good for cereal also.
That was a lot of work shopping, loading into your car, unloading & organizing on the table. Filming a video while doing this adds so much extra work. You actually did get a lot of food for $92.00. I enjoyed the video very much
@@glendasully Thanks very much Glenda. If it wasn't for the video, we would have just ordered on grocery pickup. We are having to look for alternative ways of shopping for sure.
Love you two and enjoy watching! I stock up too and good thing, my garden has had a rough start. I’m hoping it will make a comeback at least my beans, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers - I’m putting extra energy in those and hoping for the best with the rest of the garden. Glad you are feeling better, stay in and cool and rest a little.
Hello Calvin and Marie, I love when you do the prepping hauls. During the pandemic I know that here in CA there was a shortage of many things and there also was a minimum on some of the items you could buy. Having extra items saved up would have been a good thing. I had extras and I was glad that I did. Take care and stay safe.
Yes, we were well prepared before the pandemic and we didn't have any problems at all. We were able to supply others with T.P. because it was the hardest thing to find around here.
I just recently started buying from Wal-Mart on line and picking it up. It is very convenient, they even put it in the car for you! It’s good for buying all your basics!
I’m in my late 50’s and was raised to be frugal and prepared. Covid made me up my game. I’m fortunate that my family is supportive. We are in Ga too. The summer was brutal on gardens this year. I’m now concerned that the upcoming winter will be just as bad. You both are wise and I’m enjoying watching your videos. Blessings to you both.
Do you know about boxed milk, it's not instant powdered, real milk! Lasts forever! Just an fyi. I as well keep 18-24 months of food for myself , neighbors, and kids as well. We were without power for 10 days, stores all closed. We had a wood stove and hot tub, we bathed in the hot tub. I cooked on the wood stove, even made a cake in my cast iron dutch oven. I always have 6+40 bottle cases of water. No power, no well water. We helped so many, glad we were able to share. You have given me ideas! I keep a list on my storage, when I use one, I mark it off. Admire you too❤
Good evening Calvin and Marie. Enjoyed watching this video. I always prep ahead also and buy items on sale. I also can alot in the summer if I have vegetables I get from my brother's garden. This year his garden isn't doing well because of hot and dry weather. Have a Blessed weekend 😊
Great haul y'all,Ive been prepping and preparing for around two years now,Ive gotta say ive learned a few things from you and Maria,Buy the basics like store brand, instead of the expensive kinds , Ihave to say ikinda accumulated alot more food doing it like this corn, peas, Canned potatoes tuna and the list goes on ,Ithink im pretty prepared thank y'all,Ive went back and watched alot of your food hauls for your pantry and learned how to shop a little wiser 😊
New subscriber here👋, These prepping videos are so cool, Thank you Calvin and Marie for sharing the info, it really helps with the rising costs of food these days. I'm going to start prepping.
Thank you for explaining the importance of prepping. You are totally right. I hate going shopping because of the prices now but I expect them to get higher. Get some rest both of you. ❤❤ Have a wonderful weekend.
Im down here in GA to!!! Columbus!!! This is my first year my dog gone grass has burn up!! Love the show!! Ya know whats strange we eat the same kind of foods!!! Love the show!!!
Hey there this is the second video of yours that I've watched now and I just subscribed you two are awesome You're just the sweetest couple I've seen in a long long time I can't wait to see more 💗💗💗
New subscriber! Such great advice! I’m concerned about the increase in price of food. We planted a garden this year in SC but have had no rain, & the heat is awful. God Bless!
Here in Florida we have been under a heat advisory too and told to stay inside as much as possible and stay hydrated. I feel for those that have to work outside in this heat and hope their job provides lots of water for them. I noticed in the last 2 or 3 years ago that GV brand beans and vegetables went up from 50 cents to almost 90 cents. I like most GV brands. I usually get Pillsbury brand cake mix if it is available for delivery and it used to be around 98 cents or a dollar but now I noticed it is 1.27. Not a bad jump but dang something has to give with these food prices. If I can I buy canned vegetables with no salt added. You did good shopping. You don't have to explain what and why you do. Do what is best for you both.
Hey Debbie, at least we got some rain yesterday and today. It helped cool things off a little. Grass will start growing now and I'll be outside cutting grass this week but I'm not complaining at all.
We were in a bad hurricane in Florida several years ago. No power for over a week. We lived on canned tuna and cold vegetables right out of the can, no way to heat anything...terrible no ac no fan
You shop for practical items that you will be able to fix fairly easily. I hope you have a cart at home to bring them inside. I was inspired by your prep video I watched last week and went and got items also to add for winter. Walmart does sell food grade buckets and lids-which are great for storing your sugar and flour in. I also bought some cake mixes with frostings for a quick treat to also pass around to others in our building. I also did various pickles this year, and pressure canned lots of beans. I’m 71, had a small garden this year, and I planted 24 everbearing strawberry plants for next year. Hoping to get a couple of blueberry plants from the Farmers Market next weekend and get those right in the ground. Nice work and practical basic foods.
We were teenagers the same as you in the 70's. We often say how simple and easy going things were then. As frugal people I can't imagine raising children, buying a home and just covering the cost of living nowadays. God grant us all the wisdom to make the best decisions for our lives. Deb🙏

The freezing will kill anything in the flour so it will not hatch before you use it. We do this here in the midwest and it works. Hope you can use this tip. Thanks for the video.
Thanks very much Carla, yes we do that
👋 kids,
I sooooo agree to prepare.
🤗 🤗
Thanks very much Jan. Marie is starting to feel some better.
Nice haul ! Didnt know Great Value had soup … going to get some. Ty
Thanks very much. Most of their soup is good. We liked the beef vegetable soup.
Calvin and Marie, you all are doing an excellent job of prepping your pantry. Now a days we all should be doing that. I hope you all are having a nice evening.❤
Thanks so much Patricia. Yes we are doing good today.
Thanks for sharing this video with us.May God bless us'll 🙏👵
Thanks very much Linda
That is a lot of food for under $100.00. And sharp eye Marie caught that dented cake mix box before Calvin had a chance to drop it in the cart! You both did a great job!
Thanks very much
The weather her in S//Fl has been been just about the same . Hate to think what the electric bill will be this month. You two take it easy. Thanks for the the update on your health. Great haul! Joan
Thanks very much Joan.
Thanks very much for your ideas. We normally do grocery pickup but for this video we wanted to go inside.
I do the same thing my knees are bone on bone.
Good haul! Hope you have a great weekend, Calvin & Marie!! - Laura
Thanks very much Laura
You can put your flour and cornmeal in the freezer to keep it longer. If you don’t have room in your freezer for flour, make sure that you put it in there for at least three days to make sure that it kills any pests that live in flour. You can divide it up into Mason jars and keep it in mason jars with an oxygen absorber on your shelf or you can keep the mason jars in the freezer.
Yes, there is several ways to store flour.
.96 cents for a great value can of green beans? wow that's crazy. I think it was .62 cents just 2 years ago! Yes, store food for several months if not a a year or more and please pray for America. God bless. 🙏
Yes, I remember when they were just .48 about three years ago. Thanks very much.
Don’t just get food to store for a year. That is how you waste money on food that is stored and expires. Just buy more of what you will regularly use and eat and when you replace what you use each week or month, put the newer ones in the back of shelf and always use the ones with closest best buy dates first.
@@lf4061 Yes, but you can also store food that can last 30= years like canned dried rice, wheat, beans, oats.
Yes, thank goodness we've had large increases in our Social Security over the last 3 years!
Talking to the manager he said they just can’t get the stuff in.God bless you both
Yes, the shortages are very possible.
Love you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
Thanks very much Vikki. Marie and I watched a movie on TV about Joseph just this week.
We are 65 and living on S.S. we are going to food pantries at local churches. THEY are so kind and we get nice food. We call it blessing boxes. E.We pray over 🙏 it and thank the good Lord. ✝️. We also share with others. Go get a blessing box.
That is awesome! Thanks very much
I love Marie's shirt. I agree with you when it comes to prepping. Great idea!!
Yes! Thank you!
Love the opening of this video. The water sounds so nice and is so pretty. Thank you for sharing that❤🙏
You are so welcome
Yay good job 👏🏼 Calvin / Marie have a great weekend 😊
Thank you! You too!
Much love and health to you all. Thank you for sharing with us.
Thanks very much
You can make great chocolate muffins using only a devil's food cake mix and one can of pumpkin (not the pie filling - the regular canned pumpkin.) Just two ingredients! Mix well and bake in muffin tins at 350 until done (a toothpick comes out clean.) These also freeze very well. I keep all flour and cake mixes in the freezer so they don't get weevils - and they'll keep a long time that way.
Great idea! Thanks very much
One box of brownie mix and 1 can of pumpkin (not pie mix), mix together, bake 350 in a 9 x 13 pan for 23-26 mins or so. Amazing! No oil, no eggs needed. Very rich and soft. Cut and wrap squares in wax paper, store in fridge.
I am going to try the muffin idea. Thank you!
Great haul and thank you for sharing 🌽🥒🥭🍇🫑🥕
Thank you so much 🤗
Thank you so much 😊👍 I appreciate you two a lot 💕 and God bless you and your family 💗🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@leynetthudson7518 thanks very much
You are so right Marie, my husband and I are on a set income so if we had not been preppers for a long time we would be in trouble for food. The prices just keep climbing.
So true! Just keep shopping smart and stretching meals as much as possible. We try our best to not waste any meals.
You have reminded me to check my pantry to see what may need replaced. See you on the Sunday Chat...Mrs.Steve
Yes, thanks very much Mrs Steve
Marie, you are so wise to look ahead and anticipate the shortages and price increases.
If neither one happens, you'll be just as glad to have that extra food on the shelves, but if you had not heeded that wisdom from the Lord and either situation occurred, you would be wishing you acted on that intuition. Keep on prepping! You're doing well. : )
Thanks very much Angel
I just caught your channel on RUclips and subscribed. Your visit to Walmart on a $200.00 budget is very useful. It just goes to show you that you can afford to have plenty of groceries on a budget. Alabama
Thanks for subscribing and for the kind words! I try to make the best of a budget.
Love these Food Prepping Hauls. Maybe if you are
going to do more of these, you can set up a playlist. You have a "prepping" playlist, but that covers a different type of prepping..or add your food hauls into this playlist too.
Thanks for the tips!
Hello. I am a new subscriber from middle Georgia. So happy to have found your channel.
We are having a terrible time trying to keep our garden going.
Not near the harvest we had last year, but we are grateful for all God has blessed us with!
Welcome!! Yes, I'm hearing that from a lot of people. Maybe this rain will help some.
Great items. I’m a big fan of the mixed chili beans for making chili.
Thanks very much
Nice little haul! Crazy how prices have went up so much. Always nice to have something put up just in case!
Definitely! Thanks very much
Hello Calvin and Marie 👋👋👍😎👍😁❤🙏 Hope you had a nice 4th of July !
Hello Cheryl, yes we did. We hope that you enjoyed your 4th of July also.
That stream is so beautiful! I would sit and stare at that stream every day!
Thanks very much
you two are so sweet and caring, aww I just Love watching your informative videos. God bless you both
Thank you so much!
Just a recommendation. Check the cans for dents and sell by dates. Speaking from experience. Also, the vinegar if making pickles, watch it is 5% acidity.
I love your prepping. It reminds of mom. She always told me to keep can on hand.
Yes, thanks very much
Enjoyed the prepping idea I prep also prices are getting worse everyday God Bless You Both ❤😊
Thanks very much Rita
Hi Marie and Calvin I have started prepping I live in Australia and prices have gone up so much here as well, I have around 12 months worth of food in my pantry and I seal all flour, sugar as it's hot and humid here in summer. God bless Leanne 🎉
That is awesome! Thanks very much Leanne
Enjoy your videos very much. Thanks for your good tips. God bless you and your family.
Thanks very much Martha.
I live in southern Louisiana. I can relate to the heat. A couple of days we had 114 heat index. I couldn’t even cool my house. Y’all are so sweet. First time watching yall.
Oh wow! Thanks very much
That’s a good haul, Calvin and Marie!! And a very good idea, that I think I will adopt!! Thank you and good to see you both well God Bless ❤❤❤
Thanks so much
One thing I like to do, and you might find it useful, is to get some of the empty or nearly empty boxes as I collect what I'm buying. Each box holds 12, and it makes it a bit easier to transfer to the conveyor belt to check out. The boxes are definitely easier to carry than loose cans in flimsy bags, and they stack neatly in your food storage pantry. Wal-Mart is only going to throw them away, so they don't care.
That's a great idea!
Great Walmart grocery store prep haul ❤❤❤👍👍👍😊😊😊
Thank you 🤗
Hi Calvin and Marie
I’m 84 and live alone. I have a very well stocked pantry. I just recently started to stock shelf milk. I got a recommendation about the milk which was a very good one.
It is very good for baking, cooking and drinking. Nice cold very good for cereal also.
That is awesome! We have just recently started stocking shelf milk and we have had very good luck with it.

❤️👍
We like the stable almond milk as well, and has more protein.😊
I'm so glad ya'll prep.
Thanks very much
Gid Bless you both.❤🙏😊
Thanks very much
Good to prep cos shortages might happen again!
I enjoyed the video and am encouraged to put more thoughts to being prepared.
Enjoy the weekend 🎉🎉🎉
Yes, thanks very much
You two are such a lovely couple.
Thanks very much
Love you two and enjoy watching!
I hope so too! Thanks very much Brenda
You guys make me want to go shopping, but I don’t have anyone to cook it for. Hey it’s hot everywhere, 91 here today. God bless
Thanks very much Chestene. We got a rain shower this evening and cooled us off today.
I just recently started buying from Wal-Mart on line and picking it up. It is very convenient, they even put it in the car for you! It’s good for buying all your basics!
That is what we do all the time. We only went inside this time for the video. Thanks very much
I’m in my late 50’s and was raised to be frugal and prepared. Covid made me up my game. I’m fortunate that my family is supportive. We are in Ga too. The summer was brutal on gardens this year. I’m now concerned that the upcoming winter will be just as bad. You both are wise and I’m enjoying watching your videos. Blessings to you both.
Yes, the gardens in our area had a hard time this year also.
The music and the sound of the water was great. Stay safe and try not to get over heated. God gave us some nice weather.
Yes, thank you
Do you know about boxed milk, it's not instant powdered, real milk! Admire you too❤
Thanks very much, yes we buy the shelf stable milk a lot.
Good evening Sheryl. Thanks very much
Wonderful haul! Love your channel! We are fixing to be both retired and have been starting to prep. Got some great ideas besides corn and green beans.
Awesome! Thank you!

Welcome! Thanks very much
Thank you for explaining the importance of prepping. You are totally right. I hate going shopping because of the prices now but I expect them to get higher. Get some rest both of you. ❤❤ Have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks very much Cindy

New subscriber! Such great advice! I’m concerned about the increase in price of food. We planted a garden this year in SC but have had no rain, & the heat is awful. God Bless!
Welcome!! Thanks very much
Thank you! Calvin and Marie! Have a Nice Evening!!
Thanks very much
I love the fact you show exactly what you buy. It helps me. Thank you.
Thanks very much
You two are so cute. Thank you for the videos on grocery prepping.
Our pleasure!
What a great prepping haul! Thank you for sharing this! We're trying to be better about replacing the items we use. Work in progress over here.
Thanks very much
You are so right. The can food last much longer. Smart decision. My husband and I do the same thing.
Yes, thanks very much
Here in Florida we have been under a heat advisory too and told to stay inside as much as possible and stay hydrated.
I enjoy your shopping video's. I just stocked up at Walmart a few days ago. The Walmart chili is very good -:)
Glad you like them!
We were in a bad hurricane in Florida several years ago. No power for over a week. We lived on canned tuna and cold vegetables right out of the can, no way to heat anything...terrible no ac no fan
Thanks for sharing your experience. This is exactly why people need to prepare ahead of time for these types of disasters.
Thanks very much 😀
