I’ve been using 3020i’s for my desktop speakers and love them. I know the 3030i’s are probably better in most regards, but I didn’t want anything bigger than the 3020i’s sitting in my desk. They’re pretty large for desktop speakers as it is.

I use some old 2010s, and they're good with a subwoofer. Also so cheap that it doesn't matter what happens to them.

@@jamescollins6085 I recently got a RSL Speedwoofer 10S to pair with my 3020i’s (which I feel might be overkill) but I haven’t hooked it up yet. I’ve heard good things about that sort of pairing, though.

@@jamescollins6085 I just hooked up the RSL 10S to my Q Acoustics 3020i setup the other day, and I have to say, "WOW." This sub could easily overpower these speakers but when tuned just right, it does compliment them nicely.
I am very happy with this configuration.

Over $700 for the speakers + stands. They have stiff competition. Compared to bookshelf speakers on stands, tower speakers will always be more stable and produce a larger-scale sound.
