I've heard this song hundreds of times and was always disappointed because of the short run time, but this extended mix is incredible. I especially liked how you visually separated every sound contained in this song. Vocals, instrumentation, even the finger snaps. It allows you to isolate every sound like puzzle pieces and see how it all comes together. As a musician, I can appreciate that. All the hard work that went into creating this song makes me respect Maurice White and crew even more.

Shout out to the great Toninho Horta. So brilliant what EW&F did with this track.
This is Toninho Horta's composition. Milton recorded it first, but he didn't write it. It was probably attributed to Milton and Fernando Brant because both interludes on All 'N All were called "Brazilian Rhyme". This track was from the first interlude, and the second interlude, which came before "Be Ever Wonderful", was from "Ponta De Areia", which _was_ written by Milton and Fernando. Both songs were recorded on that Minas LP, which you featured.

Rick, thank you for the nice comment. The first time I heard Beijo (late 80's/early 90's) was the sample in MC Shy D - Gotta Be Tough. Still love it to this day.
Ha ha, yes. I was in high school when “Gotta Be Tough” was released and I remember having to convince a couple of my friends that it was an Earth Wind & Fire sample. They thought Shy-D and his DJ created that all by themselves. 😅

Question about your visual: x axis is frequency range, is the range the same for all instruments? I ask because the bass is pretty active on the right/upper frequencies.
No, the mixing on each of the dry tracks is done individually. I often tend to raise the mid to upper-mid frequencies of many bass tracks to help them pop.
