Thanks for the review. Looking forward to the new feature length episode in 2020. Especially looking forward to the re-issue of the novels (my original copies were lost in a move many years ago) - I always thought Cat's character was more well rounded in the books.
The Silent Hill 3 joke makes me want to see Cat in Silent Hill, especially cause it would probably be the town itself throwing it's hands up and going "Nope!"

Oh my god, so many great Cat moments! I can't decide which one I like best! The moose scene from the first episode was a great indicator of how funny Cat was going to be for this season however.

Cats hair in this season is very similar to Kochanski hair in the first season. Thoroughly enjoy these episodes; the Cat and Kryten are neck and neck my favorite characters.
I thought that Cat's hair was meant to resemble the 18th century aristocratic wigs; sort of appropriate, since the men in those days were massive peacocks if they could afford it. I love these recaps, sad that they're going to be finished soon...
just paused to say the creators did say why they gave cat a false name and it was because if he was meant to be passing for human then he wouldn't be called cat, then they decided to change everyone's names.
I think I said in an earlier video that I'm fairly sure he makes them. The mail order catalog is a possibility, except that by the time he got the clothes they'd be out of fashion =P
I think the moose thing is a bit unfair - he's a cat, why should he not believe other animals, never seen one in real life, can also drive? Or how he even knows what is a moose?
Because he says "Of course they're not [using crosswalks, etc.], they're mooses. These Swedes, they expect too much." So he knows what a moose is--if he knows who Wilma Flintstone is, he can definitely know what animals are--the joke is that he's missing the point of what Lister is saying.

I think the reason cat doesn’t recognise it as human meat is because lister’s body is about 80% curry, it most probably didn’t even need seasoning!
