Thanks for the video. Heading out to Carowinds in just over a week. Haven’t been to the park since their opening day of being a member of CF. Pumped to ride Fury along with everything else!
You're going to absolutely love Fury. It is my absolute favorite roller coaster in existence. I haven't ridden a ton, but I've ridden a lot, and I will never get sick of Fury. Need to get my pass for this year already.
1. Fury 2. Intimida-Thunder Striker 3. Copperhead Strike 4. Afterburn 5. NightHawk I havent been, but I think if I ever go there, this is how it’ll rank!
Thunder Striker has a 211' drop, not a 230' drop. Fury is my favourite coaster after Steel Vengeance, and is best in the front row on the left side. I rode it 97 times in 3 days and 4 hours. Thunder Striker is best in the back car and Afterburn is good in any seat on the left hand side (to avoid head banging) but my favourite is back left. Copperhead Strike I like best in car three (rows 5 or 6) with my 2nd preferred option riding in the back car (rows 7 or 8). Carowinds isn't as good as Cedar Point, Kings Island, Six Flags Great Adventure or Six flags Magic Mountain, but it's still one of the best amusement parks out there. In fact: I prefer it to both Canada's Wonderland and Knott's Berry Farm. Thanks for posting!
fury is my #2, out of 431 credits, and I have ridden this thing countless times. Back row is the best. You get pops of ejector on the smaller hills. Thunder striker is also a back row rides, although on of the weaker b&m hypers. Afterburn is glossy smooth and good in all seats. Copperhead is my #4 in the park, but I prefer front row for some reason
@@AdrenalineLegends I usually like the back. prefer it on all B&M hypers I've ridden; as well as Millennium Force and Orion, and Leviathan is tied between front and back for me. But I just prefer Fury 325 in the front, even if the drop is a little better in the back. Afterburn is smooth but it's inversions cause my head banging on the right seats.
@@Paolo8772 not extremely. I did not feel headbanging whatsoever, or pain. Maybe cuz im a kid. But I could definately see why you could prefer fury in the front. That first drop feels like your flying, and falling forever. Note, when I said 431 credits, was a typo, meant 331
@@AdrenalineLegends Yeah, fair enough. In any case: with the short trains considering the size of the drop and much faster average speed, there is little difference between the front and back of B&M gigas compared to Intamin gigas or B&M hypers with staggered seating or 9 car trains where the difference between front and back is much bigger.
I got a ride on Hurler not too long ago and it wasn't all that rough (in the third row at least). It's main problem now is that it's just really boring. The hills almost get you airtime but they don't. I really hope they'll eventually give it the Grizzly at KD treatment and retrack/reprofile it, because it's layout has so much potential.
In 500 hundred years when we are all extinct from climate change...( allegedly ) aliens are going to come to earth and wonder why we worshiped these giant metal snakes.
I thought I was the only one who thought Copperhead strike was better than thunder striker.

Thank you for giving the respect that Nighthawk deserves. That and Vortex make up the most overhated coaster duo of all time. Nice ranking!

2. Intimida-Thunder Striker
3. Copperhead Strike
4. Afterburn
5. NightHawk

Fury 325 ft to be exact
I want to ride Fury so bad, it’s high on my bucket list

They’re going to be so confused as to why we built transportation vehicles that take us back to the same spot.
Would you believe me if I told you I know at least 1 coaster enthusiast who believes Fury 325 isn't the best attraction at Carowinds?
What do they think is the best?
Probably the only thing they care about is ejector airtime and so they would rather have coppehead which has a few instances of it 🫤
