  • Scorched Earth Toys @ anymoon.com takes a closer look at the classic Yamato's first effort at a VF-1 toy. This toy marks a huge moment in the evolution of VF-1 toy engineering. It's historically very important; but is it worth owning?

Not bad toys from Yamato. I have the same set in display. Great review

What a giant leap Yamato made when they released the 1/48 after this!
Why on earth did they make the legs die-cast??

but the v1 are still relatively cheaper than 1/48 and 1/60 v2 and they got it in all the important colours. So its still a good reason to buy them if you are on a budget.

I noticed your backpack wasn't flapping around in fighter mode. Is that just a defect in my toy?
