There's actually a little extra pull down on the knee joint for GERWALK mode that allows for a better forward bend. With the leg completely straight hold just above and below the knee and give it a pull it will pop out a little bit, about 2mm. While not essential it can add a little more to dynamic gerwalk. In the newer releases of this toy Yamato have remolded the Nose-cone / Hib connection to make it much easier to line up.
Vegeta you should try transforming the YF-21, its really hard i have had mine for a year now and have only transformed it once and dont plan on doing again.

Is that one an original? I had one when I was a kid but it had metal along with plastic and was very well made. That one looks nice but I was hoping it was one of the older metal ones. Those were much better.
@carlosbd As with most model kits I don't recommed trying to transform them. My VF-25 almost broke trying to transform it between modes. Even then the price tags like around 100 dollars a kit with the ones from bandai.
Now I remember, I have my mom buy this the same for me around 1990-1992. I remember there is metal part in the leg, the cocpit. Have also my sister throw it in flow, still ok. Oooo miss this robotec and M.A.S.K the red car one. 😭 Lost it already

Just got one! But have a hard time pulling one of the feets. Seems so simple at 1:15 but I feel like it's going to break if I pull harder. Anyone has had the same issue? Anyway to fix this?

I have never been big fan of gearwalk mode. Yes its nice addition but I think that fighter and battroid modes look much better.

Did you panel line your VF-1S? What pen did you use? It has a quite nice effect.
