Around 4:43 in the video, there was a small kitchen, not shown in the video. When the Stasi HQ was first opened to tourists, you could walk around anywhere, unsupervised. Inside that kitchen, I decided to open the upper cabinets, and I felt around with my hand to see if something was left behind that no one saw. There were two things I took: a stack of blank bank deposit slips for some kind of private East German bank, probably just for Stasi people, and a single blue and white porcelain coffee cup, "Made in DDR", which I'm guessing was used by the top Stasi people. I don't think it was the crime of the century.
