It's not a burp, it's probably throat singing from the way it sounds. In beatboxing we also call it vocal bass. It's a technique that lowers your voice by 1 full octave

This one is hard to sing along to, a lot happening in each of these parts and it appears they cross a good bit, especially tenor and lead? Do the stem directions indicate parts in TLRB (im certain no one calls it that, R for baRitone feels a little silly) the same way it does in classic basic SATB?
