I've always liked to think that this song would play if we were able to fight photoshop flowey on the genocide route where the souls instead of helping you to beat flowey they where helping flowey to beat you. At 1:23 the souls would be spinning around flowey making his attacks more powerful and the souls would also be trying to attack you. In that final part where the song gets calm flowey would return to his normal form with the souls still around him and flowey would keep you in the fight box unable to move with his pellets around you getting closer to kill you. Idk that's what i think.
