- Eagles Canyon Raceway - Formula 1 expert race on the Eleven Motorsports/Pirelli Yamaha R1. I lowered my record-breaking lap of 1:53.9 from the morning race(beating Dustin Dominguez record lap of 1:54.4 set in 2023). The new record lap of 1:53.713 was set in lap 2 of this race. The rest of the video is pretty boring as JC took off with the win as I struggled with getting the rear to hook up. I need some more power and rear grip!

Man that guy had some launch out of the corners. So by lap record do you mean your personal lap record?
We definitely know where we need to work. Our bike is a bit down on power and we need to adjust electronics for better drive in 3rd gear. The 1:53.713 is the new outright ECR Track Record. As in, no one on a motorcycle has ever gone faster than we did on lap 2 of this race at ECR 😁.
As a member there that rides this track 2,3 times a month, I can say this is incredibly fast. Incredible. Great job!

You catch up to him on entry, your drive, and lines is whats killing you. Are you running any kind of quick throttle? Maybe go for less throttle travel, like closer to oem, that way you can get on the throttle sooner and at a softer progression, so you can better control the back end spin on exit. If you sharpen those two things, you are def a lot faster rider then he his. Are you using back brakes?
We haven't played with the YEC settings yet, but just started digging into it to find out the problem with weak corner exit. No back brake used in this race...
