Ang Mo Kio Central Market & Food Centre | Hawker Eats

This week, we will be visiting Ang Mo Kio Central Market & Food Centre. Ang Mo Kio Central Market & Food Centre is located at 724 Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 and consist of 45 stalls.
My wife and I came to this hawker centre with a goal in mind: To have the Xi Xiang Feng Yong Tau Foo. For this stall, you will have to choose the ingredients that you want first before joining the long queue. From research, there are about close to 40 food items that you can pick, ranging from deep fried items to the boiled items. Each food item ranges from 70 cents to $1 dollar. You can choose to have your Yong Tau Foo Soup or Dry or you can choose the Laksa version. Do note that this stall is mainly open for the breakfast/lunch crowds only and they are usually sold out before dinner. They are closed on Sunday.
We also tried the carrot cake from Lim Hai Sheng Cooked Food. They still sell in portions of $2 onwards, very affordable. Do note that they only sell the white version.
We also tried the drink stall called Long Quan Cha Shi. They sell quite a variety of drinks and breakfast toast set too. For the classic drinks such as Kopi or Teh, the prices only start from 90 cents onwards, very affordable.
