I've watched many RUclips travel videos on Ninh Binh, and you two have the BEST attitude of all! Makes for such energizing, pleasant viewing. Peace and love!
What wonderful place to visit! I would've liked to have done it exactly the way you did it in this video. Perfect if I had only one day to spend there. Beautiful! Beautiful! 🥰
There is a third boat tour in Ninh Binh , much quieter , less touristy , not very well known , but more interesting on Van Long swamp where you can watch the well protected rare langurs jumping from trees to trees searching for food . Highly recommended
What a scenic view, the rice fields, the high mountains and a simple road where you can ride with your own feet with a bike as a morning excersice routine.... Everyplace is so green like you will always breath a fresh air😀Thanks for bringing us to the most unseen places in the map but it really worth it to visit.....👍😀
I just discovered your videos and they are amazingly helpful in planning my upcoming trip to Vietnam 🤩. I just added Ninh Binh to the itinerary as well after seeing this video in particular. Can’t wait to see what other places you explored!
Check out Paddy Doyle's videos as he's doing Vietnam north to south on motorbike. He didn't do Ninh Binh, Sa Pa, or Cat Ba justice, but does have amazing videos (check out episode 15, 10, and 6 as they were my favorite...but episodes 3-10 were all good).
As a Vietnamese, I agree with you that Ninh Binh is the most beautiful place in Vietnam. I visited it 8 years ago when it was an overlooked tourist spot. I'm glad it has been gradually more known to foreigners.
Yeah, every time I see Ninh Binh, I fall in love again. Alright Anton did a great video on the area showing stuff you can do (although he didn't get to do it all due to the heat, but he plans on coming back in the future). Flora and Note did two great videos from Ninh Binh.
There are many people places like that in Vietnam, but it's not popular that's why people don't know, you can check it out Mộc châu, Cao Bằng, TÀ Xù...
We were cycling along looking for somewhere to eat when we passed this place. I stopped and thought to myself, I know this place from somewhere. Sat down, ordered and pulled up this video to confirm. Trang An Riverside Garden restaurant has a great view and tasty food if you're passing by.
The views are stunning guys. The drone shots, WoW! Our return trip will include Ninh Binh. You make it very enjoyable.💖💖💖 Love to you both from Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Nihn Bihn was great! We stayed in a cabin while we were there. Pretty sure we did the boat tour that you guys didn't do- which showed a bunch of the King Kong filming locations. It was great! Had no problems with scams, but we did share our boat with two random Vietnamese women. Good memories. Would love to go back!

Looks amazing, really helpful in deciding what boat trip to do we're going in march, and staying in the same hotel in hanoi as you did. In the video you said you got some hassle over the boat tip, what did you give v what they wanted.
Hey! That’s good to hear! Well they don’t tell you what they want, can’t remember what we gave but he didn’t want to accept it and we were confused haha
Ninh Binh is magnificent! I love the clouds and lightning up on the dragon as it creates a mood. However, that's pretty dangerous to be up that high when there's lightning even miles away. The 4 people to a boat isn't a scam...you either wait for 2 more people or you pay to have the boat to yourself like Flora and Note did (which is preferable if you're a vlogger as other people on the boat may obscure your view or are loud). Not saying there aren't scams, but that wasn't one.
We we’re about to pay for the boat to ourselves but we didn’t have time to do the 3 hours (as mentioned in the video) and because of the weather they couldn’t offer the shorter tour :)
Hi Molly & Matt, great video from the two of you as usual. As a side issue, I also follow Paddy Doyle on YT. I think that you are either following him or he is following you, because both of you are in the same areas of Viet Nam seemingly at the same time? Maybe you could catch up with him and maybe do a 'one off' collaboration of something whilst in Viet Nam? 😀😀
May I ask how did you guys get to Ninh Binh ? I heard you said bu train ? Did you go straight from Ha Long Bay after you guys are done with the cruise ? Thanks in advance
I really don't get why Vietnam is not a tourism hot-spot yet with everything that it has to offer: unique land- and seascapes, pristine beaches, and pulsating megacities.
It really should be a bigger hotspot than some of the current hotspots. If you haven't already, check out Paddy Doyle's videos as he's doing a motorbike trip from north to south (my favorite episodes have been 15, 10, and 6...although episodes 3-10 were all good).
Technically, you do need a permit to fly a drone in Vietnam. However, many people have no issues with it. Just do not fly in military or restricted areas (like around airports...e.g. Da Nang is near an airport, so only fly outside the city).
It's valid to drive/ride there if you have an IDP...but only for the class of vehicle you're registered for (e.g. if you don't have a motorcycle license from your country, then it's not valid in Vietnam). But one big thing is that your country has to have signed the 1968 Vienna Convention with Vietnam (countries like the US, Canada, Australia, etc., did not). You should be able to Google it for more details.
Although everyone said that Trang An is better, I personally like Tam Coc better especially when I went earlier this year. There was no one and it was so serene.
There too ignorant for that mate they make no effort to learn the language anywhere they go it's embarrassing there just designer travel influencers too bothered about what they look like, all these travel couples are the exact same yawn. Also saying thankyou once doesn't make you cultured your just daft basic tourists
Ninh Binh is quite beautiful but u can find somewhere else similar in Vietnam. If next time you decided to revisit Vietnam i highly recommend Sapa which is called the roof of South east asia, the only place that actually got snow in Vietnam. They have cable bus to bring you up to the top of the mountain as well. From there you can have a tremendous view above the cloud quite interesseting.
M&M thanks for sharing such tremendous sites off the beaten tracks. Your courage for exploring the unknown is to be commended With a great amount of enthusiasm to boot 👏👏👏👏
@@dabbleandtravel Definitely try it as some say it's the best pizza they've tried. It was started by a Japanese guy in Vietnam and can be found in the bigger tourist cities. But you probably should have tried goat when you were there as Ninh Binh is known for it's goat meat.
I've watched many RUclips travel videos on Ninh Binh, and you two have the BEST attitude of all! Makes for such energizing, pleasant viewing. Peace and love!

Biking is such a great way to see a new place. Fast enough to cover more ground but slow enough to see it all!
This is the best description of a bike!
Wow... very nice place. 😊 Definitely adding it to the bucket list. 👍 Cheers and stay safe. ❤️

Amazing! So jealous! Most spectacular footage! Keep them coming and keep having those smiles when you travel! You are my favorite travel vloggers!

The scenery is unreal! Hard to imagine that places like this are out there and not spoiled by mass tourism.

We got the train from Hanoi , we got dropped back in Hanoi after the cruise and then got the train 🥰
This is awesome. Enjoy.

Don’t miss Hoi An further south. ( especially at night)

Pro tip, travellers: alway learn "Please & Thank You" in the native language of your hosts
We do actually, you’ll see in the video we said “cam on” which means thank you in Vietnamese.

Lol they also hide comments because they know there sellout tourists with no idea how to interact respectfully with locals hahah embarrassments
