Another fine video. The beach. WoW! With the heat index so high in much of Europe and the U.S. Looking at this Beach Paradise gives us the urge to go take a dip somewhere preferably PHC

Aw hope you can visit! Thanks for watching!
Bro, go explore the country extensively. From Da Lat to Nha Trang to Ninh Binh, Viet Nam is very diverse in terrain.
Wow! So many good things to show and tell here. It explains why the video ran a little longer. You guys had a lot of fun here. Nice! 😎👍
Thanks for always watching! Yes it was a long video ahaha!

I just got back from being there for a week. It is as advertised! I had a great time. It's beautiful there
i was on the cable car and i loved it, beautiful view, refreshing wind and great weather
Giving me some great ideas of where to visit in Vietnam. Thinking of a side trip from the Philippines next year.
Go for it!!
It is beautiful but a little jealous to you guys because you really enjoyed the hidden underwater world of Phu Quoc that i missed last time 😂
Hehehehe, hope you can enjoy it next time 🥰💪🏻
thank you for this video
you both bring me sunny in my work right now.
100% see you soon Vietnam
Such a memorable trip with you guys! Thanks for introducing our Pearl Island to your audiences all over the world!

@@dabbleandtravel Hey, just curious, but what's the minimum of people that you need for that kind of tour in Phu Quoc with OnBird? thanks!

Glad you liked it!!

Vietnam is so clean.

No it’s not
Had me in stitches with your comments about jet lag.
I've done loads of direct flight from MAN and LHR and soon to be LGW to asia and I never feel any of it.
Watch films and listen to music and naturally fall to sleep and you'll fine after. Don't force your body :)

Thanks for sharing this wonderful video.
U guys been to many beaches in d Southeast Asian region, from your travelling experience, which country has d best beaches (incl islands), Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines etc. Indonesia n Philippines have thousands of islands that r still not developed for tourism.
Thanks for watching!

Really loved the video. The beaches were pristine
Thanks for watching!
Responsible tourism. Thanks for keeping the coral areas protected
They are great at that! So responsible!
awesome video, thanks! looking to visit there soon... Also, how has nobody mentioned Vanilla Ice in the comments...
I visited Phu quoc in 2018 and went on the cable car when it was brand new. Back then the island that the cable car went to only was a remote island with 2 restaurants and a beach. It’s incredible how much they are building on the island and rather tragic that they are destroying all the beautiful nature.
Really enjoyed this video:)
Just came back 2 week ago its a disaster ugly resort ….no more beach
@@nastybeaver4906 where did the beach go?
The whole north end of Island Phu Quoc is the nature reserve.

Thanks for watchibf!
The owner of that European city in Phu Quoc island, he was used to live in Europe for long time. After he came back to vietnam, he decided to build that kind of city in vietnam for Vietnames peoples who can not visit Europe. Phu Quoc is very big island & there are so many small islands nearby so that you can explore it. Enjoys Phu Quoc guys specially seafoods!
Unfortunately it doesn't look nice. It looks cheap and gaudy as does all the other faux European cities they are putting up like in Ba Na Hills...and I bet they are building another one around the glass bridge. They should really reconsider doing that and work with the gorgeous scenery and environment they have...do like Topas Ecolodge as that's beautifully designed and well incorporated into the land. And quit doing things for the masses as it cheapens everything for everyone. The US has 3x more people and more tourists than Vietnam but only has 1 Disneyworld and 1 Disneyland (sure there are other smaller theme parks)...so not sure why Vietnam is building them by the dozen like that and ruining such a beautiful country. Check out Paddy Doyle's videos as he's doing a motorbike tour from north to south and showed such beautiful sceneries so far (highly recommend episodes 15, 10, and 6...but episodes 3-9 are great, too).
I can never understand why anyone would build this type of fake town. Takes away the charm of the place.
I'm Vietnamese and I think it's ghetto
I got one more clip last week for this mall:😀😃😄
ruclips.net/video/92FUqIXqZ7c/видео.html
If I want the real European experience, I would go there. If I can’t afford it then I would Google map. No need for a fake city.

This is called "Bai Sao," meaning "The stars beach." You can hire one of those blue boats to give you a tour wherever you want to go. There is a very cool safari/zoo in Phu Quoc where the many are free to roam and not caged.
Thanks for letting us know!

@13:01-that black angus burger looks delicious. I looked up on the cassia cottage menu online. 285,000 dong (about 12 USD). Quite expensive for Vietnam. I think Phu Quoc is generally quite expensive compared to other places in Vietnam though
PHU QUOC is generally more expensive for sure, its mainly resorts and hotels! We definitely found the food to be more western than Vietnamese therefore it was pricey!
Wow so beautiful drone i love it when your doing the drone so beautiful nice and beautiful adorable my idols take care 👏👏👏🥰🥰🥰👌👌👌

Great vid... Im also looking at booking with Onbird for a "family with kids" snorkelling tour. Just wanted to ask if Onbird allow you to freely film the locations or did they kindly ask you to refrain?
We were allowed to film, it was just no drone footage hehe! But if you have any worries contact them direct. They are so helpful! 🥰

Do not underestimate tropic heat and the sun. I miss the salty sea. You guys did a great video.

Phu Quoc looks beautiful. It’s quite different vibe from Da Nang and Nha Trang. Thanks, guys for showing it.
It sure is! Thanks for watching!
thank you so much for the video! Im planning on going to Phụ Quốc end of the year, where did you rent the scooter and is it trustworthy and or expensive ?
Thanks for watching! Rented from our accommodation, trustworthy and great price!
Don’t forget to visit the beachs around of Nador City
Thanks for the video! I'm traveling there in November! What's the name of the place with the orange bean bags?
Cool vid guys. Got any vegan options there?
This makes me very sad. I've been in Phu Quoc in 2013. There were no huge Hotels, Waterparks and "European cities" and all that stuff. I'm happy for all the locals earning money on the tourism and make a better living. In 2013 i've been around the whole island (pretty much every road that exists there) and it was a wonderful trip, with so many "untouched" beaches and very warm hearted locals - I've noticed maybe one or two building sites for new hotels at that time.
Eventually the most beautiful untouched places become very touristy. Hopefully it is good for the people.
It's good for hotel chains and that's it. This is the sad future of our lives.
It should be noted about the weather and tourist season at some beaches, Rach Vem Beach (Starfish beach ) will be beautiful and full of starfish in the dry season from November to April, while Sao beach (this beach) and Khem beach will have calm waves and clear water and greener in the rainy season from May to October. Im from Vietnam, welcome to my country
Thank you! This information is helpful!
I am planning for a trip in the month of July… is there a possibility to see star fish in the Rach Vem Beach?
If i am not mistaken, sun world is the developer of theme park in ba na hills. They also developed phu quoc. It is a tourist trap. They always include the cable cars with the theme parks unfortunately. Sadly, langkawi's cable car also include the small theme park at the foothill of the cable car station.
Na thrang theme park was developed by vingroup ,the car manufacturer
Sun World and Vin Group both need to be put down for defacing Vietnam with all that crappy faux European atrocity. Seriously, what's with all the tacky and gaudy crap theme parks and such they are putting up all over Vietnam? The US has a population that's over 3x that of Vietnam but only has one Disneyworld on the West coast and 1 Disneyland on the East coast...sure there are smaller theme parks all over as well, but Vietnam is just pissing me off by leveling what is naturally beautiful about the country and cheapening it with crappy fake European cities. They need to stop it already...but nope, they built that glass bridge which will also have a theme park put up. They need to find someone who has a better eye for design to incorporate it into the environment aesthetically and otherwise.
@@doodahgurlie maybe they thought fake european design will attract tourists. But they should stick with traditional vietnamese design. Europe already has many great old buildings like in poland, holland, austria, france, germany , greece, italy and basel switzerland. Europeans are not impressed with fake european buildings especially at theme parks.
@@keangwooichoo6138 Supposedly they built it for the Vietnamese/Asians or those whom cannot travel to Europe. Okay, fine. But they don't need to build one in every city. Two are more than enough for a country that size.
@@doodahgurlie personally, if i visit vietnam i prefer to see vietnamese buildings, not new european theme parks. Old colonial french buildings are fine as they are historical.
@@keangwooichoo6138 Me, too. But whatever they decide, make them aesthetic to the eyes and fit in with the environment. Don't offend my visual senses with crappy, cheap stuff. I guess I wouldn't be as offended if they hadn't put up one on every corner nor how tacky/cheap they look.
Cool video guys! My partner and I are going at the end of September and I’m worried it’s going to be super wet. Did you guys get much rain? I believe it’s a similar season to when we are going :)
We didn’t get any in Phu Quoc that ruined our trip. It was mainly at night and in the mornings! Hope you have a good time xx
Matt and Molly came to Phu Quoc in the beggining of rainy season, so not much rain in daytime, almost sunny days and the sea water conditions on the date of snorkeling was so wonderful, even much better than it is in the dry season, as you can see how calm the water was in the video of snorkeling. The peak time of rainy season happen from August till October when Phu Quoc is under influence of tropical depression in Vietnam East Sea but without the influence of tropical depression and storm then not much rain even calm water and light sunshine. That is some brief of weather in Phu Quoc
Ok thank you! Do you think coming at the end of September would be silly? We were hoping for sun and beach time… should we push the trip back?@@onbird-phuquocsoft-adventures
Phu Quoc coconut prison is where the French colonialists detained Vietnamese people who wanted to fight for independence.
An amazing video and an other aspect of Phu Quoc Island brought out from insiders. I understand why OnBird wants to keep the coral reefs unveiled because there is a delince of coral area in Phu Quoc Island, especially an illegal exploitation, my friend who is a diver in Phu Quoc told me that there are coral thiefs cutting corals from nature to build their underwater facility for bussiness, i saw the cuts and friend showed me images which tell the different between identified coral colonies in the past and the present. Do you wonder what they are they doing behind sea walking clud in Phu Quoc Island which are named as coral park, how did they get the corals these? 🤐😯

Hi we wanna come here in November is this a good time for weather? 😊
So which side of the island had the white sand and calm sea. I'm not a surfer and really want to swim in calm sea. Great upload.
Sao Beach - Kem Beach (South-east side) and Dragon Beach (North side) are beaches you can find white sand. Sao Beach and Kem Beach are calm in the summer time (May to October). Dragon Beach is calm in the dry season (November to April)

In Vietnam, they tend to refer to it as the American War, but thanks anyway for the video. You've sold me on Phu Quoc.
Wish they promoted Coffee from Vietnam in the hotel. Laos, Vietnam snd Thailand hss lovely coffee
With Jetlag what I found is. When you have a flight that would go to Dubai from the UK, I would go to sleep on that second flight from Dubai to Vietnam and then you wouldn’t suffer with Jetlag and every flight I’ve done and I’ve never suffered. But my first long-haul flight to Thailand I suffered big time without not doing as I said above. Stay awake as long as you can.
I love Phu Quoc

That's how they call it, a finger nail island. I guess the shape of that beach looks like a nail and a beautiful blue color of the water that really mesmerizing. Sounds like 'fuq quak' the name of that island haha and it sounds silly. But that damn real good island tropical paradise to visit like you're somewhere in the Philippines. Thanks for showing up something that i'd never seen before but it kinda interesting. Hope to see some more on Ho Chi Minh on your next move and see more people on how busy they are bustling and hustling...😁👍

10:15 The city is supposed to be a copy of Italian city like the one in Sicily and designed by Bill Bensley. When it's finish there going to restaurants, boutique hotel, bars, coffeeshops, spa, clothing store etc The kiss bridge designed by Italian architecture but not finish yet. Not many Vietnamese have a chance to travel to Italy so I think it's nice. If you see European style city in Vietnam it's either French or Italy since Vietnam have good relation with both countries.
That’s right, there’s absolutely nothing horrible about it!! It’s for the locals that can’t travel and to at least they can experience. And btw, Italy was the best country in Europe of all my European travels back in the late 90’s 😊🤙🤟
@@noelpilapilburgos
Good to hear and I hope I have a chance to visit Italy someday.
This 2 blogger so rude! I did not expect they said its horibble! For me as a asean i like that kind of project not all asean people can afford to go in europe country! Its beautiful and stunning👌
Tourists shouldn’t expect Vietnamese people to live in poor conditions forever just for them to experience a “real Vietnam”. Sorry, we cannot please you. We need to develop as well.
The place was designed by architects from the West and it is pretty. I’m pretty sure Asian tourists like it, too. If you’ve watched vlogs of Korean tourists, you’ll see how much they enjoy the place.
Some Western tourists come and feel horrible because there’s no dirty thatched houses and poor Vietnamese anymore.
You really think all the skyscrapers and glass buildings in bigger cities like HCMC, Hanoi, Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo are Asian architecture? No, they’re not. We’ve just been learning from the West.
This is Vietnam after the war. And we deserve a better place. We want to build and see beautiful things that we’ve dreamed of for so long. It’s not very nice to feel horrible and say hurtful things about the development of a war-torn country.
@@jedgigil2684
Haha I don't think they try to be rude. It's just they expected Phu Quoc to be a sleepy island. Actually PQ was a sleepy island like 10-15 years ago now you see a lot of development and construction especially after Vietnamese government want to turn PQ into island city last year. I don't blame them Sun Grand City is freaking huge and can be overwhelming, the project will open next year when it finish so it look better than now.
Not really a fan of beach towns/cities or even beaches, really, but this is a beautiful place.
If you prefer mountains, then check out Paddy Doyle's videos as he's doing Vietnam north to south on motorbike and showing some spectacular sceneries (episodes 15, 10, and 6 are awesome, but so are episodes 3-10).
So happy I watched this. I was going to go only to do the cable car - and no interested in a theme park. Will skip Phu quoc now.

@@dabbleandtravel Paddy Doyle showed it in episode 10, if you're interested. It's an atrocity as they are gonna put up another theme park, which is why they built that bridge.
