I took a college course on Langston Hughes my senior year and was amazed with a lot of his literary work. His poems and fictional stories addressed a lot of social, economic, cultural and political issues which even now are still being argued over today. The Bebop and Jazz influences in a number of his poems is incredible too. Langston Hughes is an enduring star!
