For some reason, they always seem to aim for the greatness of the old MW Series, but never manage to achieve even a fraction of it.

He was already shot and had to do it very quickly, he also wasn't well on his feet. But yeah nowadays COD
Or he just should have been taken hostage with them continuing the story through to season 1 like they’ve done similarly in the past.
The previous game had 15 mission campaigns, were technically missing 1 mission, or several if you do not count the open combat missions which are in another game engine.

Wow can't help but notice that the campaign is getting shorter. This person beat MWIII's story in 2-3 hours compared to the 4½ hours they took to beat MWII. Oh man...
This campaign is not that great as well. Boring
Also look at how long this video is in comparison to the full length of the campaign
thats why mw3 is called a "dlc" to mw2, activition just messing up everything at this point
its not even a campaign really, they don't have well designed levels that just did fking warzone/dmz again....

Can’t believe they bring back Soap in MW2 just to kill him off again in MW3.
Will the story continue in multiplayer with future seasons, a DLC or in MW4 since the story ended in a cliffhanger
That was so bad. Remember when Soap died in MW3 in 2011 and you felt the pain from Captain Price as he begged for Soap to hang on. He just gets shot in the head and nothing. The cliff scene was the only thing that showed some emotion

At some point the COD series seems to have adopted the rules of the Marvel universe with regard to time lines, as well as life and death of characters. Still appreciate the video and the time put in.

I noticed it, and that was why I was kinda scared, even though it was a flashback.

Hate to be pessimistic but this campaign was not good. Abrupt ending, every single mission took place in the warzone map and of course it feels like nothing is really at stake while playing. The OG CODs were linear & more story driven. This just feels like a glorified warzone mission.
I’m so glad I did not get this MW or any other MW remake for that matter. I’m not sure who writes the remakes but it’s really fucking bad. Cold War was actually tolerable and had interesting missions but this..? Uninspired. Bland. Virtue signaling. Price just kills shepherd because he feels like it. Soap dies and for what? It has no impact. Nothing wrong with MK, he’s a great RUclipsr btw just this game was not good.

The visuals are great, however, I think someone as Soap would not miss a bullet to the head of someone at point blank range. He did it in OG MW, shot Zakheave, did it too in OG MW II, stabbed Shepherd in the eye after being stabbed himself. And isn't Soap a SAS Sniper? How does he miss a shot at point-blank range?

It was a cheap death but I don’t think it was for a cash grab. But I mean look at what they did to ghost and roach they killed then off early before the developed their character. Maybe I’m inferring to much but I think soaps death was one that was coming. He died trying to save price.
Does suck that campaign was short tho but it definitely had its ups and downs. I’m just hoping they give us more as the seasons progress. The campaign is definitely not the cash grab tho it’s all the multiplayer and zombies(they even marketed it for the multiplayer being what cod players wanted

Now that I think about it, whenever a main character gets killed off in the original MW trilogy, the main villain usually gets killed within the same mission or a few missions later. Like gaz with zakheav in MW, Ghost and roach with shepard, yuri and soap with makarov

The amount of reused assets in this is insane, like for the cutscene showing off the American Missiles Konni stole it uses the exact same images from MW2s missile mission.
my take would probably be that the developers know the games gonna flop and this game is just the a cash cow and they are preparing maybe a better game soon they just need a little bit of profit to make the future games better

It was so well done in MW3 2011, we saw Price getting emotional, the suspense behind Yuri somehow knowing Makarov and being involved in this, it was so different compared to this death. In this, Soap just gets shot by Makarov out of nowhere and boom, that's it. It almost feels like a disrespect to the character...
I agree with you too but killing soap in this MW would make Makarov seem like a cruel, no mercy giving, psychopath
@@Ghost-ip3bxWell, irl it would happen that way exactly, Soap was the injured operator, and he angered Makarov more by attacking. Makarov being not injured but trained took him on, won (because soap was injured) and killed soap. That type of thing can happen in real life, all the drama and other shit is pure fake looking, they did it right here!

No matter which mw trio i find this mw trio keeps it somewhat realistic. Great voice acting in this trio to, But the og trio is still the best. But it was a different time. Different games. I still enjoy the new trilogy as much as the old.
Oh absolutely! Definitely enjoyed the new direction and the new depth to the characters in this timeline. Both are an excellent trilogy to play through and watch.

Alex came back in warzone 1, he survived and has a prosthetic leg, TF-141 had no other choice but to team up with Shadow in order to take down makarov
You had to play warzone for the inter-game story, silly way of doing it.
It's like the MCU, if you don't watch the subpar shows like Agents of Shield, you never get the whole picture.

For Shepherd, It was actually happened only in MW2, not 3.

They did no good on Johnny. His death was meaningless a single headshot on CQC. And why did he not aim for the head knife?he could have ended Makarov right then and there. He survived the toughest missions and yet he died on a headshot without putting a fight?

I don't know what people have against this campaign. From a storytelling viewpoint, it is really nice. Not as overblown as the old one.
Like, come on. WW3? Half of Europe under russian boot in a couple of days? Wrecked? New York under siege?
This is far better.
Gameplay wise it's another story, they overdid a lot of stuff here, true. But the characters, interactions, motivations are way better fleshed out.
