My family moved from California to Texas a year ago! Best decision we ever made. I think you will fall in love with the people here. Everything is cheaper here too which is such a blessing for a growing family. It's also full of beautiful lakes and gorgeous sunsets. I'm in the rural town of Gun Barrel City(Could that sound any more Texan? 😆) which is about 1.5 hours east of Fort Worth. Anyway, I'm so excited for your family to experience Texas! Lex, to tell you the truth, I was hoping that you’d stay in Nevada with your mama. As mothers, we love having our kids close. My son and his family are an hour away and my daughter and her family are three hours away. I feel blessed that we can visit fairly easily. On the other hand, I can understand you wanting a nice-sized house with reasonable prices to raise your family. 🥰

Lex!! Omg. Gallup is literally the town we go to all the time!! We live 35 miles east of Gallup. If you went to Starbucks there, it seriously takes YEARS to go through the drive thru. I always do a pick up on mobile app.

I am so happy yall have finally made it HOME. Born and raised in Texas. Currently living in Louisiana, about 2 hours from Fort Worth. Yall will love it there. Hubby and I used to go quiet often just for a getaway. Baseball games, zoo, aquarium... all the fun stuff. I am so excited for yall.
