- Visiting the North Shore is a must do when on Oahu, Hawaii! From great snorkeling to amazing food, there is A LOT to do on this part of the island and in this video, we share 6 things you must do! We started our day at Kono's to try their breakfast bombers, which were SO good! We then made our day to the Waimea Valley Botantical Gardens and Waterfall. What a beautiful place to visit! The flowers and plant life that was there on our way to the waterfall was beautiful and the swimming in the waterfall was something we'll never forget! After, we stopped by Laniakea Beach (also know as Turtle Beach) where we saw SO many sea turtles! We finished the day with some shave ice from Matsumoto's, shrimp from Giovanni's Shrimp Truck and more snorkeling at Shark's Cove!

Aloha! I am one of the Volunteers at the beach with the honu. Did the volunteer tell you the main reason the honu are there? It is their food. As you see in the video the honu is eating on what we call the shelf. They eat the limu (algae) and bask. Great video and mahalo for keeping your distance. They are truly remarkable wild animals.
Thanks for the info and for volunteering to keep the beaches the way they’re intended to be!
Wow! What a trip, so so so lucky. Now back to reality... Good day

That waterfall looks amazing!
It was so fun!
FYI....Yellow/black fish @ 8:55 is Hawaii state fish...Humuhumunukunukuapua'a, (triggerfish), translated as ''The fish w/the pig-like nose(snout)"
We got to see so many of them! Beautiful fish!
Took me a week to be able to pronounce it
Thank you for your videos, excellent information!!
Thanks so much for watching! 😊
Great video. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Love your video! Where do you leave your stuff when you go snorkeling?
Nice video but your title shot is of Kailua on the windward side, not the NorthShore.
Wow so beautiful
What time of year did you travel to Oahu? Thank you!!
It was incredible! We visited in August!
What's in you're camera/mike set-up? Do you have a drone in your arsenal/tool box? Was born/raised around Waimea/Shark's Cove area & learned to snorkel/spearfish in the area....
We primary shoot on a Canon m50 with a Sigma 16mm lens. The mic we use is a Deity V-Mic D4 Duo. All the shots of us in the water were from a GoPro Hero 7 Black. Thanks for watching!
Is the highway pretty safe from the airport to the North Shore? Thank you. 🏖️
I would say so! We never had any issues driving on any of the roads while there
Did you buy the snorkeling gear or did you rent some out?
We bought our own! Can find some good ones on Amazon 👍🏻
What did the shave ice cost you?
I don’t remember honestly, as we went 3 years ago
They filmed LOST at those waterfalls.
Interesting! Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Stop overcrowding North Shore...residents gave lost our freedom.
Tourism is the largest industry for Hawaii, so you should want visitors to come to keep the economy healthy. Many of the businesses that are supported on the north shore are local, mom and pop businesses, so I’m sure the owners appreciate it. Thanks for watching!
Renee not sure but probably is because people at hating word of mouth but also tourism ads increase the numbers coming there. I was told tourism is the number on economy on Hawaii. So the ads and population also relies on the tourist dollar?
