Love your videos! Born and raised here in Hawaii, I've grown up on Waiola Shave Ice my whole life and I always recommend my mainland friends to try it. Hi Meimei. I have Hawaii on my bucket list. I commend you for trying different foods. I can't say the same for me. I do not eat meat, fish, eggs, pork, or anything spicy so watching was a treat. I really think if I went to the cat place I would have adopted all of them and took them home. I went to Ireland and took home a Border Collie. It was so expensive to bring her home but well worth it. I had to get all her shots and had to purchase a seat for her. I think in total just for shots and a seat it was well in the thousands. She turned out to be the best furbaby I had. So smart too. Thank you for sharing and recommending all the wonderful food in Hawaii

Paradise Cove is the best! The food, the show, and activies are amazing. I actually went there earlier in April where I went with my parents (since im still a minor ofc) and it was really special for me because my parents went there a few years after marriage ..and brought me there 20 years ish later. Such a fun night with my parents :)))

Yay i been waiting for part 2! I love all the shaved ice places you tried,my first job was for a shave ice company and i used to eat it all the time. But i know hawaiis is way better hopefully one day i can travel and try!
It never fails that after I leave home I find out about more places I should've tried. My family and I was just there in July and only now I see this video and find out about other yummy places I want to try.☹️ unfortunately I don't know when I'll be able to go back home. It's so expensive to fly back to Hawaii often.. Glad you enjoyed yourselves there in my home town. You were bringing back memories watching all the scenery in your video..

Not a alot of Greek eateries, or Mediterranean for that matter, in 808. Right off the top of my head would be Leo's Taverna on Bishop. Have yet to try out Is Istanbul Hawaii

Foods in Hawaii are awesome, especially their desserts. Hawaii is super diverse and the food fusions is just out of this world amazing. Probably one of the best food destinations in the world.

Next to Henry’s place is a little shop called Waikiki Tea. They have some of the best crepe cakes on island. I definitely recommend. Also that skewer place looks bomb. I’ll have to try it, even though you said you probably won’t be back lol.
You hit nearly everything!!! I love how you went to Aiea Bowl, one of my favorites. Did you try their crunch cake? Also next time try Cowcow in Kaimuki for yogurt purple rice drink and halohalo at Magnolia. Those are some of my favs too.

When we were at Waikiki, we ate lunch & dinner all week at Stix's Honolulu Noodles Restaurant (a Taiwan restaurant 5 min. walk from Sheraton Waikiki) which has home-made beef&bone&23 Chinese dry herbs& Chinese mushroom broth without MSG(did not get dry on our tongues after consumption) boiled up to 72 hours!
Noodles & won ton wrappers are home-made too!
We like the hearty piping hot Beef Soup Noodles & the hearty piping hot Won Ton Soup Noodles!
Natural, nutritious& tasty! Very good service & clean too!
11am-2pm Beef Soup Noodles special price $15(a $6 off) served with green Bok Choy leaves & sliced green onions. Free condiments like hot chili sauces, beef butter,& pickled vegetables are served separately with the beef soup noodles also.

My first job was at a shave ice shack and I remember double fisting the syrup bottles LOL We had silly names like Mustang Sally and Bart Simpson and I still remember the flavors for each! We called it snowcap when we put condensed milk on top. I LOVE your videos so very much and your attention to detail like the fun transitions between locations with that little mouse click and always documenting prices. Aiea is my hometown and Ice Garden is my younger sister's favorite shaved ice place. I got so excited when I saw it in this video since not many people go out there. I'm away for university right now so this made me lowkey homesick T^T

Wow you hit up a lot of great spots that other vloggers aren't hitting. Some places I'd recommend on your next visit is Adela's Country Eatery, Waioli Kitchen and Bake Shop, and Singmatei in the Ala Moana Center food court!

Highway Inn’s keawe loco moco is the best. It has a nice smoky flavor and if you can find one, white pineapple is awesome. You should try Holey Grail and Lapperts next time you’re in town. Sing Cheong Yuan has the best half moon and macadamia nut sesame candy.

love the vid!! I was born and raised on oahu and a place I would definitely recommend you to go the next time you go to hawaii is cinnamons, you have to get there red velvet pancakes. And another place would be gomate, its a ramen place that has the best ramen in my opinion. They make everything homemade and the best in my is the number 1. Hope you had fun on the island :))

You did a good job covering some local spots. Next time for poke (there’s so many good options) you can hit up Alicia’s, Ahi Assassins, Tamashiro market. Taniokas is one of my favorites tho, childhood memories of walking across the street to get some!

You probably have had red miso, because lots of restaurants use it to make miso soup. They just don't generally advertise it
