Tried paying attention to Luka talking the first time fighting him here. Got bits and pieces of it. Going back and actually listening to him. That's so sad. How many of us have felt that way about ourselves? I can definitely relate. Sometimes, we become monsters due to insecurities and poor self-image :(
After watching bayonetta origin I think the reason why bayonetta was able to heal so fast is because of what happened with Cheshire when she stitched and what Morgan said and makes me believe that jennna didn’t die but was dream walking
1:07 So Bayonetta gets stabbed and is completely fine but when Jeanne gets stabbed, it kills her. Well after playing Origins, it hurts a little bit less.
Um Jeanne got killed by singularity, and he’s basically a machine god who’s easily killed multiple bayonetta’s and Jeanne’s, there’s a difference between him and strider.
Came to realize Viola must be French Bayonetta’s kid. Look at the hair and also Cheshire has the spiral thingy in his mouth just like Bayonetta’s hat O_o
Honestly, seeing how we got a Bayonetta vs Arch-Adam fight, we should've had a fight between Viola and Arch-Eve (aka Alphaverse Bayo) sooner than the post-credits scene here.
Tbh they should've had Dark Eve pop up at least twice before this fight (other than the prologue). It would've made Luka being possessed by Dark Adam more impactful. I think the biggest issue with this game is that it just doesn't have much time for exposition. Supposedly there were going to be two extra chapters which would probably have been enough to properly flesh stuff out. Dark Eve wouldn't have needed to be relegated to a prologue and epilogue only position (though I think Viola fight in the epilogue could've basically played out the same way).
idk shit about bayonetta and i haven't played a game but i'm really interested in all this stuff but anyone wanna explain to me why she just auto heals at 1:25 but dies when gomorrah attacks her?
Probably just plot convenience because witches have always been fragile at some point in exchange of untouchable dodging. But it seems that what keep witches alive is their umbran heart, if it breaks as we saw with rosa they die. And gomorrah is a demon but strider is a fairy, it could be that demons damage more witches than usual, and bayonetta had already been fracturing since her sight with singularity and gomorrah just finished her.
Since Dark Adam is like Dark Eve it's not necessarily coherent, though considering the amount of mystery surrounding Luka and the other Luka variants it could be something that hasn't been revealed.
Dark Adam is the conscious of Luka’s Alphaverse counterpart whose physical body died but the former survived and became evil and vengeful. Luka’s faerie powers came from his Avalon counterpart but had remained unseen until he became possessed by Dark Adam and combined with Singularity’s destruction of the universes, these powers spiraled out of control which was why he was always in pain and forced to transform until Bayonetta defeated Dark Adam and Lukaon merged with Luka to give him control of his faerie powers.

Nope. Iirc shes the daughter if the bayo we play as in the prologue
At least Luka isn't dealing with the Symbiote or Dark Prince.

The only good quote this game unfortunately
That quote goes so hard
I got so hyped at that moment when I first played it. The music kicking in right after was insane too.
I'm still bitter about Jeanne's death
We all are. How did no one on the team think it was a stupid idea?
5:15 Strider mess with bayonetta

9:45 what was bayonetta tried to tell her?
Probably another scolding lesson.

Her Umbran heart was broken when Gomorrah attacked her

Her umbral watch had broken when gomorrah atacked, she was vulnerable.

What truth? What is that dark cloud of evil talking about?
I think it was the singularity that affected his mind
@@deandresinclair With what? Some kind of Faerie virus?

Actually it was the Fairy magic in Avalon that poisoned his mind

Yo if bayonetta was a pvp fighting game I would buy it because the combat mechanics are so good not 4:00 only in 3 but through all bayonetta titles

from the cool angel and light and darkness thing.... to humunculus multiverse BS. sad
And Faerie too. 😎
Well, the homunculi come to wipe all the trinity of realities. End with "Bayonetta's darkness and light concept" is part of it
1&2 both had time travel shenanigans out the wazoo, but "multiverse bs" is where the line is drawn. Smh.
Demonic, angelic and Human, it’s a balanced trinity, afterall singularity is a human made ai that literally destroyed humanity, it’s poetic
