Thank you. Liz deserves justice at the very least. First time I spoke to Liz Father a long time back his words were, "Justice is so fleeting, we pray for nothing less. Thank you for your concern and caring."
I thought then and do now, no need to thank me for caring. I was asked once given I never knew Liz and am not even American etc why do i care so much? Answer is easy, I asked "How come you don't?"

Im really glad someone is looking into this case its always intrigued me and can't understand why it can't be solved... I don't make a habit mentioning other creators but grizzly true crime and aaron mull are great channels keeps to facts and no drama! I would absolutely LOVE if you could maybe do a live stream together and get this stuff out to many more subscribers and creators this is one of those that just really bugs me thanks i really appreciate the work you've put into this 💯🤗

A bit of a screed, but I hope it may prove interesting.
Besides the Barraza case, I’ve also followed the Missy Bevers slaying closely. For a long time I believed that these were both do-it-yourself murders where the shooter was the person with the grudge, but over the last few months I’ve watched videos by Tom Webster and Gumshoe Stories, and I have come round to the idea that the Bevers killer was a thin person disguised as a fat person, and that the supposed limp is an act, as they seem to walk ok for a pace or two, but then remember that they’re meant to walk in an odd way and start acting again. I then began to wonder if the two murders might have been carried out by the same contract-killer. They took place pretty close to each other both in geographical and temporal terms, and there were a number of similarities in appearance and MO.
The first point is the height and sex of the killers, and these are intimately connected. I personally feel that they were female, and this is a remarkable coincidence in itself, because while women are responsible for the overwhelming majority of contract killings, this is almost always as the employer and not as the culprit. The killers are both about 64-65 inches which is average for a woman. On the other hand if the killers are male then it’s a coincidence that they’re both very short for a man.
Bevers had ‘puncture wounds’ to head and body, while Barraza was shot in head and body
Both killers arrived in the area several hours before the crimes.
Both killers used a disguise. Personally i doubt that Barraza’s killer wore any kind of outlandish disguise - for example the Princess Leis costume sometimes suggested, as I think that Liz would have reacted differently had this been so. The disguises were more for the benefit of the cops than the victims.
Both killers apparently used a revolver.
Both killers took advantage of a narrow window of opportunity of 25-30 mins, and kept their cool when it seemed that the window was closing: Bevers arrived at about 5.10 instead of her usual 5.00, and Sergio left about 10-15 minutes later than normal.
Both killers used Nissan vehicles, and these seem to have vanished into thin air. My hypothesis is that the killer had access to a dealership specialising in second-hand Nissans. I envisage them borrowing a car, carrying out the crime and then putting it back on the lot, and this is why it can’t be found. It’s like the old riddle ‘Where is the best place to hide a tree?’ It may be that some unsuspecting people are riding round in vehicles used during these murders. The fact that the killer didn’t care that the vehicles were caught on CCTV argues that the licence-plates were bogus. A motorist passing the church where Bevers was killed reported seeing a dark SUV coming out, and couldn’t be sure that this was the night of the murder, so it’s possible that this was the killer in yet another Nissan carrying out a dry-run a day or two before the killing. It might also raise questions about the Titan seen near the Barraza home the night before the attack.
It’s pretty clear that the person who killed Barraza was a professional. It’s noteworthy that the person obviously had a preferred escape-route, but when this proved impracticable - possibly they saw a police car and thought the alarm had been raised - they already had a Plan B in mind: they turned around and drove back past the Barraza house and then to the dead-end where they left the road, went down the slight slope and vanished into the back-roads. This implies that they had thoroughly reconnoitred the area beforehand. The fact that one of the shots missed Liz doesn’t invalidate this idea: there are many desirable attributes in a contract-killer, and being a good shot is well down the list. If I were employing such a person I’d look for someone who:
    - Was a good planner
    - Was a good organiser
    - Wouldn’t leave evidence at the scene
    - Wouldn’t blab about the crime
Clearly the person who murdered Barraza meets all of these criteria.

According to the family and police, the initial police report was incorrect and all four shots did strike Liz. First shot hit her in the neck, a through and through shot that went on to hit the porch. Two in chest area the final shot hit liz in the face, just above her top lip.
Missy case I know in passing, not great detail. I dont think missy was targeted. The shooters first choice wasnt to go to the church, but they were clearly casing the sports shop on the adjacent parking lot up the road. This to me is the key to it not being targeted because when that venue wasn't plausible, they left and drove away.
I've always envisioned Missys killer leaving that sport wear shop in a really pissed off mood felling like it had been a total waste of time going over there and then, muttering to themselves about their terrible luck, they spot the church and probably out of sheer frustration, decide to turn in to have a look as a sort of consolation prize to go home with like the money for takings etc.
I think missy was just in the right place but the wrong time. I think she walked in and startled the killer who may have felt like a trapped and cornered animal. Missy may have seen a dark figure moving and make for her phone and 911. The shooter is already pissed off at no loot to go home with, now they are looking like going to prison for nothing ! Shot Missy dead as she stood inside the front door.
I believe that's where whe was found. You will know far more than I regarding Missy and that case.

I don't know. I've asked Michael Ritchie and he confirms not only is Sergio seen on his, but they have him on the neighbours cam leaving in the white van.
He told me when he gave me the hour footage that the cam was set to record in 1 hour segments and He gave me I think 05:40 - 06:40am so one after that would be of Liz after she was shot. I have heard that on that Liz can be heard after the truck left trying to ask for help and.... Well it's too graphic to say any on public platform but it wouldnt be nice to hear then let's put it that way. I think that's maybe why he won't release it. I wouldn't want nor let my wife's painful last moments be given out for the World to see. It's.jsut as likely he's refusing out of respect for Liz and to let Liz keep her dignity. I think it's the right choice to make.

He doesn't say "I love you " to her. And some will say that it gets cut off. Well how convenient. One thing is for sure. There's another female there that's speaking Spanish to him. And in an interview he says "we left " referring to leaving the house before the shooting. I'm fluent in Spanish and I know what I heard. He was talking to his mom. But why lie and not disclose the fact that she left with him. The neighbor wasn't wrong about the mom possibly living there. The mom would stay with them whenever she had arguments with the husband. And if there's one thing I've learned about ppl it's to trust them as far as you can throw them. Especially in these situations. People will only tell you what they want you to know.

@@MarkVARBERO I don't know the police are incompetent to a large degree here. I mean, could they have expanded the search area for CCTV along Kuykendahl to find the truck and possible plate? Yeah, probably. I spoke to Sgt. Ritchie about the truck couple of months ago and I just said in passing that I don't think the truck is out there or if it is, it's not with the killer or their own truck.
I think, even if they possibly had got a clear shot of the licence plate, I don't believe for a second they would be on a genuine plate. They would surely have been on false plates anyway so catching the reg would be useless. Ritchie said he thinks thats a probability too that they were running false plates.
Anyhow, I know and I see why a lot say the police are incompetent in this case because on the face of it, it does appear that way but when your look at the details of the case you realise that theres no physical evidence at all, no DNA, No Prints, No footwear impressions, no shell casings, nothing at all. All you have is grainy footage of someone in a gown and what looks like a possible wig, filmed at a distance. I know, even Michael Ritchie said it, when you look at the case at first glance even he thought "Have this solved by the end of the day" because it captured on CCTV.
I come to understand that can be a false positive, so to speak. It may seem like great evidence to solve a case, but I bet you anything if you asked the Sheriffs office and detectives working the current Rachel Morin case, they would have said the same and they even have his DNA aswel as his profile image on a nest camera. Yet, months on from Rachel's Murder, that man is still unidentified.

I agree. I too hear a second female voice which isn't liz. Interesting when thinking of the neighbour saying Sergio and Liz had a mother in law living there. It seems a really odd thing to get wrong. You don't usually invent other people living at a place that aint. Weird. Also, truck drives back by second time and what sounds like the door shuts as it does. Also, that odd movement behind the tree just before shots are fired, something moved. What, or who, was it?
Police were also on scene at 06:58. I know they were tending to Liz, but with every Min or Two that passes, more and more units start arriving one after the other, fire and paramedics too. I wonder why they decided to clear the residence 25 mins after first officer arrived there. Was that because someone said a mother in law or kids were there?
They know the shooter had fled cause witnesses have reported it, several of them. When they enter the house, if a suspect was hiding in there having been there all along (co conspirator) then police wont likely find them as they are clearing it for other possible victims, not other offenders. Victims would be out in the open and just a quick walkthrough would suffice to find them. Suspect hiding, wouldn't be found
