They're talking about the system as a whole. The 1st-stage evaporator absorbs the heat and eventually removes it from the system via the 2nd-stage condenser.
Interesting question! ULT frezer frequently use gaseous chemical compounds that can easily be liquefied and characterized by certain properties such as high critical temperature and low critical pressure, limited hazard and toxicity. They are indicated by the letter R followed by a number that refer to the molecule’s atoms. I hope this is somewhat helpful! ACS has introduced R473A now as a non flammable alternative to R170 and less environmentaly harmful than R23 and R508A/B. It's a blend of R32, CO2 and R134a which is weird I think since they're so different from a pressure perspective and i really don't now how that is supposed to work out

This video receives a "bravo zulu" from me. Production quality is excellent.
I AM LOOKING FOR -90 DEGREE CHEST ULT FREEZER
Today I learned a lot
Fantastic video, I was just hoping to find something about those superfreezers! Thanks
Dear Vittorio thank you where are you from ? you have Italian name ?

5:10 did you said : "the evaporator of the 1st stage gets cold by the condenser of the second stage" ? For me it's the contrary
Sir which compressor and gases use for -86 ultra low deep freeze in 1st and 2nd stage
I agree. They said there is no evaporator in the 1st stage
They're talking about the system as a whole. The 1st-stage evaporator absorbs the heat and eventually removes it from the system via the 2nd-stage condenser.
Nice video very interesting how long it takes make this video?
What type of refrigerant used in the second stage freezing system?.
Which vaccine is using your country?
I m italian we should start with Pfizer next week
What are the refrigerants used in those ULT?

In the low stage it's often R23, newer models have R170. The high stage used to use R404A nowadays it's R290
@@nova290r thanks. R170 (ethane) and R290 (propane). I have heard they were getting used now.

How can it works without electricity? That's to low temperature of -80 degrees centigrade?
The condenser fan and compressor are both powered by electricity.
Can we use same refrigerant in both compressor if it's boiling point is too high and freezing point is too low?
No you cant, one type should have a high pressure than the other
Can be the R-404 and R-508b
Im trying to fix one freezer like it.
You guys are still using PU insulation? No wonder the freezer is so energy-inefficient. Why not insulation with better R-value like aerogel or VIP?
