I ordered one about 2 weeks ago and this video has only made me more excited to get it in my hands lol... I spec'd the blue handles, the new live blade and a trainer blade as well.
I agree that traditional bushings would be great in this application, I'd also like to try steel washers if i go the distance... Interested to see what kind of mod work you come up with for this guy!

How are the screws holding up? I have heard that theyre made of butter and they are basically the reason i havent bought this yet

replaced them with m2.5x6mm make screws. the stock stuff is fine but tune holds much better with upgrades

I have the trainer version and absolutely love it but, the more that I see pics and videos of the live blade version, the more I want one. I may need to buy a second one, just to have a live and trainer version.

they stopped doing the monarch blade recently and now it’s got this new one
