    Nice to see additional rider footage and feedback.
    Looking forward to seeing a video review and reaction of the gyro wing and its performance in action.

    I want to see some pushing of the boards, circles, tricks, wave jumping, figure 8s, get some air, let’s see how it handles doing adverse angles…. We want to see this not performed by someone associated with the company.

    So in conclusion, the stand out points from his final assessment are that the remote is small, the boards planes in the surface of the water well and the short mast is a great idea. The other statement I notice is that this is a $1200 eFoil claiming the best, stiffest, lightest materials BUT still has a floppy aluminium mast like all the cheap boards. Even better ‘aircraft grade’ not marine grade. Aircraft don’t spend much time in salt water.

    • @xfoil
      @xfoil  Месяц назад +3

      Aluminum is stiff, light and durable. We use 6061-T6 aluminum. Aluminum is naturally anti-corrosive. Aircraft industry has much higher standards than marine in terms of safety, grade and material selection. Marine grade materials matter more for screws, fasteners and items that have iron/steel composite materials that can corrode. XFoil uses 316 anticorrosive marine grade materials in the respect.

      @@xfoil Then why do the worlds best foilers (or the average foiler to be honest) demand carbon?

    • @xfoil
      @xfoil  Месяц назад +3

      @@tomashwell4060 Carbon is lighter but more brittle (easier to break/crack). Aluminum is better for electric hydrofoils because it offers heat dissipating properties for the electronics where carbon fiber does not.
