Thank you, this was an incredibly helpful video and was very well done. In terms of the portfolio, do you exclusively look for architecture based work in the portfolio or do you also like to see a variety of different fields such as product design projects, photography and art? Thanks
Hi there, thanks for your question and glad the video was helpful! No, The Bartlett don't just look at architecture based work, there is no guideline for what you 'should' submit. The portfolio needs to represent you, and how you see the world so can feature a wide range of subject and media. There are some good discussions available if you search on the Student Room about the application process, from students who have done it themselves. Good luck!
Hi! I was wondering since I’m an international student in the Cambridge AICE program but also taking AP courses how many tariff points would I need to meet entry requirements through UCAS? Thank you!
right?? I think cardiff actually drops their entry to AAB after. And you could say that UCL is more selective with the portfolio and task, which explains the grade discepancy between them and cardiff. But that was weird at first
@@swausgebouwen143 Ya it used to be AAA when I applied Cardiff WSA in 2018 and based on their website now the requirement changed to “AAA - AAB”, still quite high tbh. I do think UCL is more selective in terms of portfolio and they defo look for “artistic talents” more than Cardiff. Cardiff is more technical and academic compared to the Bartlett.
Hi there, unfortunately the entrance requirements are strict as there is strong competition to for places at The Bartlett. However you can see if you are eligible for a contextual offer, where they take into considerations outside your grades: www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/undergraduate/application/requirements/access-ucl You can also speak to an admissions tutor for more information: bartlett.faculty@ucl.ac.uk +44 (0)20 3108 9637 Hope that helped.
there should be more videos on this! if its possible I would like to see a day in the life of an architect student just to prepare myself!
I would like to thank you very much.
i really wanna go to this school for architecture, it genuinely looks amazing
