    Dear everybody: how its done.
    Use a block of wood as a shaping spacer. Wrap the inside leather around wood and clamp for shape. Apply glue to edges. Apply zipper to suede side of inside leather. Then add more glue and outside leather, then stitch the sandwich of inside leather zipper outside leather together.

    How can you stitch when the zipper is flies to that block?

    • @RaphaelRousseau
      @RaphaelRousseau 2 года назад

      I guess one doesn't stitch with the leather is on the block. Just wait the glue to set, then add the outer leather piece, make the appropriate holes and stitch altogether: inner leather + zipper + exterior leather.

    RUBBISH !. So , you glue a zip to a piece of m.d.f and "HEY PRESTO" it suddenly becomes a wallet ! ( no explanation of how the leather miraculously attached its self to the zip while still being in a perspex clamp.........waste of time!
